THESE ARE AMAZING! Really, they seem of great quality and better than any silicon coated spatulas I have ever had. One is quite LARGE and I will save it for when I have a large load of people to cook for, but the smaller one should do the trick for just me. I was thinking in terms of flipping burgers maybe, but you can still find uses for the large one like more area to move around in a stir-fry mix or something similar. They just arrived, but I am so happy with the purchase, I can't really say anything bad about them. I hope to get a long life from them without any problems. Once i read how bad the black plastic kind are i ordered these. I have to admit, they are harder to flip pancakes with - thicker and stickier, i often pull my old ones back out when i'm in a hurry. I'm hoping i get used to them. Otherwise these are nice quality and probably deserve a 5 star but there is room for improvement if they can figure it out. ... show more

    • thin leading edge and they protect on-stick pans
they have a thin leading edge, making them slide easily under food. The large size works well for fish while protecting my non-stick pans. They withstand very high temperatures. FAR superior to plastic.

Making omelettes with these spatulas is great. They easily glide under the eggs to flip them over. They don't melt under higher temperatures. Worth the $$$.
