I don’t know what I was thinking!! I made sure to measure my sink cabinet and it was a perfect fit, except for the drain that goes thru the floor of the cabinet. I could have cut the mat, but that defeats the purpose. Just be sure when you are measuring to look at your drain configuration. But the good news is I am using it under the litter box - incase anyone has any accidents outside the box. And it will probably help contain the litter that gets tracked out of the box.

This fits under our kitchen sink perfectly, replacing a simple rubber mat that gets stuff underneath it. It has a nice rubber lip to contain spills, and looks and works exactly as designed. Most spills this cabinet won't be from the plumbing, but rather the cleaners/detergents and other things people usually store down there. The main cause for water leaks would be along the sink spray hose (since water can get in that way). This won't work unmodified for many kitchens where the water supply plumbing comes up through the bottom of the undersink cabinet. We chose to fold ours up for those last few inches rather than cut the mat to fit around the hot and cold water pipes - cutting it would defeat the point of that lip around the edge to keep spills contained. It means we sacrifice a bit of that protection. It seems to make sense rather than take the risk of letting any moisture get trapped between this mat and the cabinet bottom. The front edge of the mat has a clever "drain" hole - the premise being that, if there is a big leak, the mat contains it, and all you have to do is slide the whole thing out a few inches, put a container under that drain, and then "pop" it down to drain the water out. That will have a usability problem, though: this mat is very flexible, and sliding it out to use the "drain" would most likely just pour the spilled water out from the corners! Of course, we've never had a leak or spill that big. So as far as keeping the cabinet floor safe from detergent spills and such, it's working perfectly.

It's similar to what I got before (white color on photo). This one is also perfect size for my smaller sized cabinet. Other mats out there requires you to cut to size but this one you don't have to. Has a drain hole that you can easily flip or push down to drain the water. And the mat is about half an inch high so high enough to give you time (hopefully) to catch the water drip.
