  • I might buy 3 more pairs to ensure I have them for the future.
Size: 13 Color: Ridge Reaper Camo Barren/Bayou/Khaki Base
The Under Armour HOVR Dawn Waterproof 2.0 Hunting Boots have been through the wringer, and I’m here to report that they passed with flying colors. As someone who’s serious about hunting and hiking, I didn’t want to write a review until I truly put these boots to the test. Since purchasing them in late summer, I’ve used them for everything from hiking to small game hunting and even dragging out three white-tailed deer during big game season in northern Indiana. These boots have seen rocks, mud, water, snow—you name it—and they’ve held up beautifully. Let’s get one thing straight: these boots in the pictures aren’t fresh out of the box. Nope, these are boots that have been beaten to hell. They’ve got bloodstains (yep, the real deal), dirt, and wear that would take lesser boots out of commission. But here they are, still waterproof, still comfortable, and still ready for more. That’s what these boots are for—they’re not a fashion statement; they’re tools for the job. And they do the job incredibly well. One of the standout features is the immediate comfort. There’s no break-in period with these boots—they’re ready to go from day one. They feel more like sneakers than hunting boots, which is great if you’re covering a lot of ground. Some people might prefer boots that mold to their feet over time, but I loved how these felt right out of the box. Durability is where these boots shine. The tread is aggressive and still intact after months of heavy use, offering excellent grip in snow and mud. They’re waterproof too—my feet stayed completely dry, even after trudging through wet and icy conditions. The laces secure tightly, so there’s no looseness around the tongue, and while they’re not insulated, pairing them with good socks kept me comfortable in cold weather. At around $200, these boots are an investment, but they’ve proven to be worth every penny. They’re lightweight, tough, and versatile—you could probably sprint in them if you had to (not saying I did, but I probably could have). I fully expect to get two to three seasons out of these, and honestly, they still look great considering the abuse I’ve put them through. If you’re looking for hunting boots that can take a beating and still perform, I highly recommend the Under Armour HOVR Dawn 2.0. These boots aren’t here to look pretty—they’re here to work, and they do it exceptionally well. Just don’t be surprised if yours end up with a few bloodstains, too. ... show more

  • Great for hunting.
Size: 7.5 Color: Ridge Reaper Camo Barren/Bayou/Khaki Base
Bought these for an elk hunting trip my boyfriend and I had. He recommended these to me because they are light weight and comfortable. They fit my foot well, tied down without feeling like my ankles were unstable. We put a lot of miles and put the shoe to the durability test for sure! Climbed mounts, boulders, rocks, sand, woods. They held up really well, I will say with the amount of ground in the week we hunted the bottoms did get quite tattered and part of the soul was tearing off. If you are looking for something that looks nice or fits/ties a hunting look together this was perfect. I love the shoe and will buy them for hunting the rest of my life. But I wish the bottoms held up better. I’d say fairly priced for what I got. ... show more

  • Light

These are really light. Comfortable out of the box. True to size. Good traction. Ankle support feels good. No idea about longevity.

  • Men’s boots
Size: 14 Color: Ridge Reaper Camo Barren/Bayou/Khaki Base
My husband loves these. He uses them for hunting in warmer weather when he doesn’t need his big insulated ones. There are lighter and easier to walk trails in. True to size.

  • Great lightweight boots!!

Best light weight boots I have ever owned. I wear them nearly every day because they are the most comfortable shoes I own.

  • Yes, these boots are 100% worth it
Size: 12.5 Color: Ridge Reaper Camo Barren/Bayou/Khaki Base
These boots Rock. They run a half size small. I use these boots for 30% Trail hiking and 70% bushwhacking through the forest. They are VERY VERY good on uneven ground and protect your ankles from cuts and scrapes. They are extremely light weight and never feel heavy or cumbersome. When you sit down (Criss-Cross) your ankles are protected as well. I bought them because my other boots (Hokas) were wearing prematurely and the water proofing was giving out. They are waterproof and did not leak in 4 inches of water and 5 inches of snow. I feel like they were designed for Navy Seals but work great for me. There are many other tougher boots and I would not use them as work boots, but for hiking and hunting they are perfect. They are not a replacement for winter boots though, my toes got cold after standing around too long during a 4 hour hike at 29f A+ for fit - Makes a sucking sound when you put them on and take them off. (Prob too narrow for those with extra wide feet) A+ for comfort - Like a glove A- for traction - River Rock traction not as good a boots with heels. Dry rock Dry ground traction incredible and superb for downhill walks. I would wear boots with deeper tread if I was planning for uphill and downhill mud. A++ for stability - Fantastic on uneven ground - Large footprint does help reduce sinking in mud. ... show more
