I got this hat for a trip I was taking. Had no issues keeping track of it during my multi-stage flights and layovers. Telescoping luggage handles make a great hat rack and it could fold fairly flat when onboard to take up less space. I liked that it's "made-to-fit" rather than adjustable It has a very thick band along the inside to keep it in place. I could have probably gone for one size smaller without any problems. But, at the same time, I didn't have any real problems with the size I got. It was just that I typically shave my head once a month and, when I did the measurement for sizing to order this, I hadn't shaved my head for the month, and the result was X-Large. That meant I could go either smaller for the "Large/X-Large" or larger for the "X-Large/XX-Large". I opted larger. But, with my head shaved, I probably could have gone smaller for a perfect fit. It had never occurred to me that even that little of hair could make a whole size difference. So, as far as sizing is concerned, the hat's sizing is incredibly accurate. And that that precision does mean once should take into account their typical "head of hair" state when taking the measurements. Avoiding measuring at either the longest or shortest length/thickness. ... show more
