Many years ago as a teenager I worked for a large, famous restaurant. We had stainless steel bowls such as these. They worked well but they were heavy. They had no silicone on their bottoms so we would put down a wet hand towel to sit them on so they wouldn't slide around. Now with these excellent bowls with bottoms covered in silicone.. they are a joy to work with. Furthermore, they are lighter than the old traditional steel bowls I use to work with. Bottom line: The wife and I are very happy with these nesting bowls. We've had them and used them for many weeks almost daily and they are excellent. Sturdy, light, non-slip, and easy to clean. These are well made and durable. Love the no slide on the bottom of the bowls. The sizes are perfect no matter what I am making or doing. I use these frequently and love all the uses . I would gift these if I could part with them after purchasing.

The bowls are great they are sturdy and hold up well in the dishwasher. The colors are a pleasant touch and I didn’t expect to like the bottom silicone part as much as I did but it’s already saved me from knocking one over.

My husband and I are enthusiastic “chefs “. We love these bowls because however, very much we love cooking we are also clumsy so we have dropped many a glass bowl. These bowls are great because they come with lids so they stack and store perfectly in our fridge and in our cabinets love them.

I got these bowls during an effort to purge my kitchen of old, discolored, or garish food storage containers. I got them because they nest, are stainless steel, and the lids are a nice, neutral color -- they meet my expectations for all of those factors. The bowls themselves are easy to wash so I wash them by hand to protect the rubbery coating on the bottom of the bowls' exterior. The lids cannot be put in the dishwasher -- they will warp and cease to fit snugly in the bowl (happened to one of mine). The stainless steel is pretty thin, and these do lack the heft you might want for heavy-duty mixing, but the rubberized base helps them remain stable for most tasks. They do not absorb stains or odors, and the variety of sizes is very helpful for performing different kitchen tasks from prep to leftover storage. Note that the lids fit down into the top 1/4 inch or so of the bowl, so if you fill the bowl all the way up, the lid will not close properly. Overall, these are a fair value and I'm glad I got them.

I’m getting older and I’m not as strong as I once was. I’ve had a set of Pyrex bowls most of my adult life, and I love them, but they are really heavy for lil old me. I bought these as a replacement and they are wonderful. They are lighter, have lids, and a nonstick bottom.

Love these bowls! Very pleased with the quality. I use them all the time. Love the non slip bottoms and color coordinated lids. The bowls feel sturdy and not cheap. They will dent with abuse but I am careful with them.

I wanted to replace an old set of 3 hard plastic bowls with non-slip bases. Did not expect to like these, as I thought they would be noisy with metal utensils. So wrong--the non-stick base mutes any metal-on-metal sound, the bowl shape is great, and having more than one bowl mid-range solves a problem that had always been a work-around. The bowls are light-weight, and the rim makes handling them easy when mixing or moving a full bowl.
