Many years ago as a teenager I worked for a large, famous restaurant. We had stainless steel bowls such as these. They worked well but they were heavy. They had no silicone on their bottoms so we would put down a wet hand towel to sit them on so they wouldn't slide around. Now with these excellent bowls with bottoms covered in silicone.. they are a joy to work with. Furthermore, they are lighter than the old traditional steel bowls I use to work with. Bottom line: The wife and I are very happy with these nesting bowls. We've had them and used them for many weeks almost daily and they are excellent. Sturdy, light, non-slip, and easy to clean. These are well made and durable. Love the no slide on the bottom of the bowls. The sizes are perfect no matter what I am making or doing. I use these frequently and love all the uses . I would gift these if I could part with them after purchasing.

The bowls are great they are sturdy and hold up well in the dishwasher. The colors are a pleasant touch and I didn’t expect to like the bottom silicone part as much as I did but it’s already saved me from knocking one over.

My husband and I are enthusiastic “chefs “. We love these bowls because however, very much we love cooking we are also clumsy so we have dropped many a glass bowl. These bowls are great because they come with lids so they stack and store perfectly in our fridge and in our cabinets love them.

These stainless-steel bowls are wonderful. I use them every day baking or mixing. I like the nonskid bottoms and the lids fit perfectly. They are durable, dishwasher safe and light weight. They stack so they store easily. Glad I purchased them and recommend them.

These are heavier than I expected for the price. I had low expectations, but they're great. I like the silicone bottoms. I've been using them daily for 3 months in the kitchen and don't have any dings or scratches like other people have said. I also don't have any issue with the lids coming off in the fridge like other people said, they stay on strong for me. It's possible they're putting them on wrong to begin with, they're very tight to put on. You have to follow the directions, one side to the other, and push the air out. I think they work great. I use them in the kitchen, but I also use them for soap making. I can pre measure my oils out into the bowls, put the lids on, and set them aside until I'm ready. When I'm ready, I can pop the whole bowl over a pot of water and melt all the oils like a double boiler. I even made a batch (with lye) inside of one of the bowls (now removed from kitchen circulation) and it went great! I might buy a second pack for my soap room. I'll update my review if the bowls don't stand up to multiple batches of soap, but so far so good. I couldn't get an answer on what the lids are made of, so I would not leave the lids in contact with lye.

I’m getting older and I’m not as strong as I once was. I’ve had a set of Pyrex bowls most of my adult life, and I love them, but they are really heavy for lil old me. I bought these as a replacement and they are wonderful. They are lighter, have lids, and a nonstick bottom.
