Umidigi G100A This phone is a good entry level phone. Takes ok pictures with a bit of graininess. It doesn't have an app drawer so I suggest moving the fine manager to your home screen to access all files or group your apps in blocks on the home screen. I'd suggest downloading a third party Gcam mod to help with the picture quality. The phone will handle ok at best for gaming, but will get hot and stutter if you're playing intense games like Genshin Impact. Simple games like Roblox are fine. This is because of the way the ram is split on the phone. It's not native at 8gb ram. It's 4gb on and another virtual allocated ram of 4gb within the phone memory itself. You do need to activate the additional ram for the phone. It has a huge screen, 120hz refresh rate, quick charge at 20 watts and a finger print reader on the button that also turns the phone on and also comes with a case. In terms of the phone's processing power(ability to handle tasks) it's about a third as powerful or a little less than the top of the line phones based on 2024 phones. That might help people get perspective on what they're buying. It doesn't have 5G, but this phone is by far best stored for T-Mobile, Metro PCS, anything in the same family. Just check what towers your variety runs off of. I do not suggest even trying to use it for Verizon. I just needed a backup phone, and after some research, I landed on this phone due to its low price, and I just wanted to give it a try. Well, for a phone under $100 it’s amazingly good and is more than expected. PRO: 1. Android 14: working great without the unwanted bloatware 2. RAM: 4 GB + 4 GB (virtual): enough for most tasks 3. Storage: 128 GB. For me, it’s enough for a long time 4. Battery: with 6000mAh, this phone lasts 2 days with normal operation 5. Refresh rate 120MHz: better than other phones with the same price 6. Nice addition with a clear phone case, a screen protector, and a slot for external audio CONS: 1. Camera: not too good, but what do we expect from a cheap phone? 2. BIG WASTE.....I put in my SIM card and the service worked BUT the call quality was horrible. The call sound would suddenly drop, either I could not hear the person on the other end of the call or vice versa. I had to buy a replacement different phone to ensure I could make and receive calls. And to make matters worse I got caught up in finding a replacement phone and life, missed the deadline to return this phone. SO now I am out of the cost of not one but 2 phones. But maybe the phone will work for you but it didnt work for me.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how much this smartphone offers at a budget-friendly price. Design and Build Quality The phone has a sleek, modern appearance that feels comfortable in hand thanks to its slim profile and curved edges. I particularly like the reflective back panel as it gives the phone a premium look that changes with lighting. Its build quality feels sturdy and fairly durable within this price range. It also conveniently comes with a clear protective case and pre-installed screen protector. Display The 6.9-inch screen provides more than enough space to browse online, play games, and watch videos comfortably. While the 720p resolution means text and images aren't as crisp as higher-resolution screens, the colors and sharpness are still pretty good for most regular uses. The standout feature here is definitely the 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and animations. Additionally, the touch response feels quick with no noticeable lag. Performance For daily tasks like browsing, watching videos, using social media, and casual gaming, this smartphone delivers smooth, reliable performance. It handles less demanding games easily; more graphics-intensive titles like Genshin Impact can run at lower details but may struggle at higher settings. The device stays cool during extended use and hasn't shown any overheating in my testing. It captures acceptable photos in ideal lighting conditions but struggles a bit in lower-light areas. The front-camera results also vary greatly depending on illumination. It will serve adequately for basic photos and selfies for casual use or social media, but shouldn't be depended on for high-quality photography. Audio & Connectivity The built-in mono speaker provides acceptable sound quality but lacks depth and can be easily muffled when holding the phone horizontally. A bonus is the included 3.5mm headphone jack, convenient for traditional wired headphones. It supports 4G LTE connectivity but not 5G. The phone's vibration feedback is strong, but the sound accompanying notifications and alerts is average at best. Software Having an almost stock Android 14 experience is refreshing.
