I have an east facing bedroom window so we get nearly blinded every morning. I got these and though they dim the light SIGNIFICANTLY they are not fully black out. I have tossed a light blanket over the top and they are now fully black. These are still pretty amazing curtains. Maybe on a S/N facing window? I imagine they would be the same on a W window as they are on mine. I do appreciate the texture and that the back of the curtains are black- i hate when theyre white haha. They're definitely worth the money- i will return to buy these as we move room to room with redecorating! Thank you

Unfortunately I measured things off lol I didn’t have the right measurement for my headboard so I got curtains that are a hair too short but it still makes a huge difference. They are super thick curtains which kinda make it hard to open and close(this may not be your case because I think it depends on what rod you’re using) and they are pretty stiff which isn’t a bad thing, just giving details. They are also really soft and a true black color. They didn’t have a smell either but of course wash them before use, I didn’t because I didn’t feel like it lol I would recommend these just make sure you get the correct measurements! I paid around $16+ for these. Pretty decent price too because some are not even of this quality and cost the same and also the same length but don’t even do what these can do. Also in my picture it may look like they don’t work but naturally my camera adjusted because the light from the window is bright once I moved the curtains. I show a picture of what my pillows look like with them opened and closed to give a better idea.
