Seems I use the wheelbarrow about every other day for something. Most of the time I can just grab it and get to work ... but sometimes the tire is flat - tube worn out or picked up a nail. Well now that's a different project. Remove the wheel, patch or replace the tube, remount the wheel, and now get to work. Not any more! This tire and wheel assembly is flat free! Installation was quite easy and they do include good instructions. They include a variety of spacers and even an extra set of larger bearings, so it should fit most wheelbarrows. It has a grease fitting, as you would expect, and I greased mine up as soon as I had it installed. I should mention that the wheel is solid yellow. The red that you see in the first picture in the Amazon listing is the paper that has the instructions on it. It's not attached to the wheel. In the picture you will see my nice new flat free wheel and tire on my 35 year old wheelbarrow. The wheel spins freely and the wheelbarrow feels easy to push and stable. This is a 5 Star upgrade for me not ever having to think about a flat or having to add air!

This wheelbarrow tire is made of very good rubber. Some tires are advertised as being wheelbarrow wheels, when they truly are not. This is really a wheelbarrow tire. A wheelbarrow tire needs to be large and have the proper configuration for the axel to go through a tube and keep the wheel straight. The point is, this is an excellent tire for wheelbarrows. It has very hard rubber, durable and strong and the tube the axel goes through is strong and correct.
