I wanted to use this for a bit, before reviewing. What a wonderful bang for the bucks! One cannot go wrong here, easy to put together, great quality for the money spent, came with enough to get you going, though you may want to invest in some 1/4 bits. Seems sturdy enough to do what I need. For my first CNC machine, I am blown away with the quality. I looked at some more expensive machines nowhere near the quality of this one. Like everrything, YMMV... The one time I contacted customer service with a trivial question, the were back with me the next day... A tip: DO invest in a good vacuum system.

Great machine
This will be a two part review. Part one: Take your sweet time planning this machine assembly and layout. This appears to be an awesome machine! Very large! I noticed the almost 40” cutting space and thought I could get away with a 48” wide table..nope..I made a 60x60 table and mounted this beast to it, minimum width is 55” and that’s absolute min. Everything out of the box looked ok from inventory review until I got to the z-axis. The z-limit wire connector was ripped off, which I initially thought that it was normal until it came time to attach the harness. Assembly went good, the size makes this task a little time consuming but it was very straight forward, just follow the instructions and take your time during alignment. When tightening the spindle mount, I noticed a slight amount of up and down motion that may produce slightly less accuracy during operation for particular patterns, but it’s still a solid design and most likely won’t be problematic. I ran into two problems during the entire assembly process, the first was that I now have to splice the z-limit connector and the second is a bolt stripped when tightening the spindle into its cradle.. Part two: Fixed the z limit switch issue. Connected my raspberry pi 5 with Candle and also UGS for operation testing, both softwares connect to the controller just fine. I then found that I had to reach out to support to help get the machine completely functional and after a few messages they were able to make it happen for me. I’m putting this as 5 stars because of the support for this setup is 5 star quality, very helpful with my unique situation. I’m happy with the functionality of this setup and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great CNC machine. I ran a file I’ve created based on this platform size and to test rigidity while planing the max range; it ran quite well. If you’re looking for a large CNC, this one is a solid purchase you won’t regret.

Great (and big!) for the price.
I'll start with the biggest con on this. The main one is rigidity, if you plan on making a big CNC router. It'll probably be fine with a trim router and shallow passes. But the odd thing with this unit is that it has added rigidity in the shorter gantry section by adding a shaft, but not so much as increased diameter in the other two to help stiffen it up some. Now, that stated, this is otherwise a well engineered piece of gear and it is quite large. I slapped this together on the table of a larger CNC router to test it out, and everything lined up and seemed well thought out for an easy and fast assembly. Inclusion of a precision spacer piece would have made the setup a bit more foolproof, but for the price, some good measurements do just as well. I bought this to use as the motion system for a 1500w metal cutting laser, so high rigidity isn't as important. For this purpose, it should be amazing. While I haven't gotten that far in the process, I did set up some free laser-specific GRBL software for testing, and it worked well once I changed some internal settings. At first, I thought the travel speeds would be too slow, but after the settings tweaks, this moves plenty fast and doesn't appear to have any accuracy or repeatability issues at high speed! The laser option on the control box will also likely come in very handy for automating the laser turn-on signal. All in all, it's a heavy duty and large machine with good value for the right application. Just work within it's limits and you won't be disappointed.

This was very easy to put together, I have already used it and it cut awesome. Very good cnc for the price and would recommend to anybody looking to get into cnc. Was hoping it would have come with a spindle router instead of a palm but I just ordered a spindle one and will see how it works

Worth the price
Still putting table together, unit is built better than expected. Wanted a machine that used a common router head, this is it. All metal parts, plastic wire tray. Very happy. Expecting to cut wood and plastic.

It works!
For what I paid, this is very usable, no problem figuring out how to add a laser head despite no pinouts or wiring diagrams. Assembly was easy by myself with no help.
