  • Great quality + Great price = Great Review
For the price these are great. I have had no issues. They are plastic but in my opinion they don't look or even feel like plastic. They are very tough and durable. AR style iron sights are not my favorite but having a 3x9 scope I wanted to run iron sights as backup rather than an offset red dot. I am very pleased with these affordable offset flip up sights. ... show more

  • Great sights, fully adjustable for height and side to side.
I love these and have them installed on my AR's picatinny rail. Instructions and description seem a bit hazy, so here is what I found. They are adjustable for both height and side to side. The front sight is adjusted for height. It is tricky to adjust and the notched ring for the sight blade is indeed some form of plastic so you can ruin it if you try to force the notched ring to turn while the ring is locked. There is a spring loaded pin that locks the notched ring to keep from turning. You have to fully depress (downward) the spring loaded pin using a jeweler's screwdriver or other stiff device so that the pin is fully disengaged from the notched ring, then turn the ring CW to lower the ring/blade, or CCW to raise it. Then release the pin to re-engage a notch on the ring. With a laser boresight chambered, I only had to rotate the notched ring about 1.5 turns to lower and align it perfectly. The rear sight adjusts side to side, simply by turning the grooved thumbwheel through several clicks to get it aligned. The rear sight aperature/hole can also be rotated into one of two modes, one with a very small hole for precision, or by using the larger hole if preferred. Both sights snap lock down when not in use, then pop up when you press the release pin at the bottom of each sight. Since the sights are offset I don't really need to fold them down as they do not obstruct the scope in either position, but the fold-down feature is still nice to have. Good luck and happy shooting! ... show more

  • These are functional sights for a spare gun
I built a couple spare rifles with red dots and also wanted backup irons. I bought this set and another fixed set at same time. Zeroed the rifle today. It went well and I had no issues with initial hits or getting to zero. Out of box they were low but only 2 inch off to left. Quick adjustments and neither the front or rear had to be pushed to an extreme. Flipping the sights up/down did not result in a detectable POI. Switching from large to small aperture did result in a shift of 3" left at 100yds but same elevation. The results were repeatable swapping back and forth so I'm not concerned. You're getting a set of sights for a very cheap price. The bodies are glass impregnated injection molded plastic. They are very rigid. The one item I would point out to those mounting these sights is you should slightly wiggle the sight front to back (of the rifle) as you tension the Allen. If you do not do this the sight may clamp slightly crooked and give you zeroing issues. This is not solely and issue with this set, this applies to all polymer sights including Magpuls. I'm sure some who have bought these have struggled to zero if they are just slapping them on and reefing them down. ... show more

  • Great buy.
Quick install. Went to the range to sight them in thinking it would take some rounds.... Nope, dead on the money at 50 and 100 yards. Great purchase.

  • Bang for buck is high
I had (very) low expectations for this set of offset sights. In general, we get what we pay for and that nearly always proves out with anything related to 2A accessories. I was pleasantly surprised by this set and will count this item as an exception to the rule. Both front and rear sights attach properly to the rail, with no slop, play or other issue. Further, the sights align properly with each other and axially with the upper receiver and handguard. If other reviewers have had issues with mounting sights (or any accessory) on a rail, it's always a good idea to verify the dimensions of their rail against the specification for picatinny rails (to ensure that the fitment issue is the accessory and not the rail). Zero was easily achieved and maintained over several range visits and no special care was taken to prevent contact, bumps, etc to the sights. A front sight post tool (4 prong, A2 style) is required to adjust the front, no tool required for the rear (it's a thumb turn knob). The front sight adjusts for height predictably (POI vs POA), as does the rear. The rear sight knob clicks are definite and also produced predictable results on the zero target. Pop up action is achieved by pressing the button on the side and while the button press was a bit stiff initially, the spring tension is sufficient to solidly maintain upright position. I have had zero issues with the pop up function and zero issues with the sight staying in the desired position (up or down). Now for the negatives, which are not related to function. First, these sights are polymer, not metal, so there are a few (very minor) edge defects (flashes) from the injection mold process. A few minutes with a detail file removed the flashes. Second, the metal rail clamp is not black, so it is not consistent with the rest of the sight. Short work to correct with a marker, but still a negative. I have three sets of these sights mounted and in use. No, they are not Dueck Defense or MBUS, so your expectations should be commensurate with the price point. If you a mounting these sights on a competition weapon, you're doing it wrong. If you are mounting these on a PDW, then verify the sights on a regular basis (every time you fire the weapon). Verifying sights on a regular basis is a good idea regardless of price point, intended use case or skill level. Bottom line, this set performs above its price point. It is completely functional and reliable. NOTE: I purchased these sights at regular price and was not solicited for a review. ... show more

  • No complaints
Good quality especially for the price, put them on my M&P 15-22 and we're only off a few clicks at 50yds right out of the box.

  • Simple and lightweight with some adjustability.
Very affordable and accurate out of the box (lucky). It's adjustable for left and right and the spring tension for the flip up. Comes with 2 different peeps, big for close together and small for far apart.
