  • The larger Crystal don’t track
Style: Pearls
So I have been using the non clump, non odor ULTRA crystal in my automatic cat litter for almost 3 years!! You have to figure out what way of maintaining it works for you. I tried the smaller crystals once, the one that looks like sands but it track way too much! These crystals are large, doesn’t squeeze her paws and does not track because they are larger peddles. I don’t follow the instructions on the bag because it doesn’t work for me, if you mix the peed litter with the fresh litter it will smell of strong ammonia. Luckily for me, my girl only pees in one spot🤨, yes the same spot all the time, so once a week, I maintain her litter. I try to completely remove the wet crystals (those are the ones that smells), remove the poo in the reservoir area, put fresh litter in the area that she pees and I never mix. That completely takes the smell away for another week and doing this, 1 bag does serve exactly for 1 month for me. Plus I wipe down the inside of the cover and outside of litter with disinfectant wipes and add whatever else to make it clean weekly during maintenance. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Pearls vs micro beads
Style: Pearls
We love this brand, but we usually opt for the micro beads because our cats prefer it. The price of the pearls is better, but the bigger beads are less comfortable for my cats. I can hear them crunching around in their litter box and the displeasure is clear on their face. I like the beads because it’s easier to scoop the poo while the pee sinks far below, but the cats have spoken. ... show more

  • What? No cat tracks?
Style: Micro Crystals
Amazing product! And it's about time! I've had cats and litter boxes all my life, and this is the first time I'm not having to live with dusty cat tracks all over my tables, furniture and kitchen! I do wish it came in a slightly larger bag since it took 2 bags to fill my litter box to the depth the bag instructed. The poop is dried up and easy to scoop. The litter turns white from urine, but doesn't clump. I haven't had to empty the box yet and start over, but so far it seems well-worth the added price of the product. The cat was a bit confused at first, but necessity required her to try it out, and now it's no big deal for her. She seems happy with the change. ... show more

  • Nice
Style: Micro Crystals
I've had good product in use for a couple weeks now and I like it. No offensive odors. It does make a dust cloud when you pour it in the litter box so next time I'll do that outside. It does track some but no worse then any other litter. My cats had no problems switching over to it and actually seem to prefer this over the litter box that has regular clay clumping litter in it ... show more

  • Works Well, but the price ...
Style: Clumping Crystals
THE LITTER I love that this litter makes my bathroom smell better. I can remove the clumps usually pretty easily, though they do stick to the pan or liner. If you use the pan without a liner, the product will adhere to the box, and takes a lot of work to get it out. I do not recommend using this without a liner. Though I don't end up with a smelly slushy box by the end of a month, I am going through more litter than I did before, and now they are raising the prices. I have used 3 bags already since I ordered them. I purchased 1 bag from another source on May 21st, and two more bags on May 25 because you have to replenish the amount scooped out in clumps. I rated 4 instead of 5 on the "easy to clean" category, because you HAVE to use a liner if you want it to be easier to clean. If your cat's nails are sharp and go through the liner, you may have to deal with some of the silica and urine getting underneath onto the Box itself and getting stuck there. In that case, you will still have to deal with some scraping and may need to remove the liner with the clean litter in it first to do it. Still , it wasn't that bad. It happened to me, and I just carefully lifted the liner with the clean litter in it, set it to the side to clean the box, and then replaced the torn liner, carefully lifted the prev one that had clean litter in it, and poured it into the new liner. You NEED to scoop it every day. For me, it's multiple times a day. How clean the box is seems to help cut down on how much of it ends up outside the box. Cat's don't like going in dirty boxes. Forcing them to do that will produce more mess, because they will try to stand on the edges of the box, or have to dig more, etc. I do generally have to sweep in front of and at the sides of the box, but at least I am not stepping on sharp pieces of crystal every time I go into the bathroom (the only place we have where keeping a box makes any sense.) THE PRICE I previously paid $28 for two 8 lb bags of litter for ONE cat every month using a name brand larger crystal litter for $16 lbs and I already thought that was steep. Now I have to use 10 lbs of the finer scoopable one every two weeks, and the price just bumped up to $11 for 5 lbs. At this rate I will be spending $44 dollars a month on litter alone! So I do like the litter better than what I used to use, but I hate the price. I worked out how much per pound this litter is compared to the already expensive one I was using before. Keep in mind I have to use more of this one too. The expensive name brand litter I was using costs about $1.75 per pound. This litter is $2.20per pound. I think the price stinks, especially since I have to use twice as much per month as the other litter. Not happy at all with the price. Silica is Silica. I already thought the $1.75 a pound was too much, as I have to use TWO bags for one cat per month. The line that one bag lasts a month with one cat is just not true. Also, their instructions to dump the whole box of litter every month? NO WAY, especially not at these prices! The litter stays very clean when you can scoop out the large clumps and any small wet bits that clump together. There is no reason to dump it all out after a month other than for them to make more money. ... show more

  • The best litter!
Style: Micro Crystals
I have tried several different types of cat litter. (Regular clumping, flushable litter, the Pretty Litter, other crystal litters...) When I ran across this while looking to get Pretty Litter, and it's more than half the price I had to try. It is so much like the PL, it doesn't change colors to indicate your cat's health, but works the same otherwise. All you do is scoop the poop, and give it it a stir. Oh, and the bag also gives you instructions on how to use it (new litter, not used litter of course) to dry flowers using it. ... show more

  • I was a sceptic, this stuff is amazing!
Style: Micro Crystals
I have 2 older male cats that urinate a lot! One has some intestinal issues and I switched to crystals for the first time under another well known expensive brand and I didn't like it cause is didn't contain the smell. It was actually worse and the cost is insane it only lasted me 2 weeks. I wanted to find a less expensive option but also worked well. I tried this and decided to even stretch cleanings to see if it contained the smell and it absolutely did. This stuff is amazing. Very little tracked out of the litter box and very little smell even when not frequently cleaned. I didn't find cleaning it hard, I thought it was super easy. When it is time to change it out completely, I dump it and wipe the litter box down. I do not use liners so not sure how that impacts cleaning. ... show more
