Just got it today. My twin 5-year-olds loved kicking and punching the new beanbag chair to loosen the foam. My wife raved about how comfortable it is. I have to admit, its firmer and nicer than I expected. I paid $190 for the 5ft one with the blue cover. Well worth it!

man... what a sack. our 16 yr old loves this thing. the cover is as soft as everyone mentioned. we took it out and immediately cleaned it with no issues. the filling needs to be broken up really well to fill it as much as possible (you could actually purchase more filling if you want a firmer feel). but he doesn't want to. best to use a broom handle or something to get in there and break up the foam initially. it gets messy, but once it's done, no mo worries. ... show more

Don’t underestimate its size. Our son loves it! While it does take a few days to fully expand, unlike beanbag chairs, the foam inside does tend to clump and garden together, so before each sitting, you do have to break it up before sitting.

Its fine if you’re in a tight spot and need some furniture or a temporary bed. In summary: I think I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it to others. You get what you pay for, I guess. my recommendation for the reader is save up or splurge on a nicer one. The stuffing inside isn’t the same one they advertise on the photos which upsets me, because I definitely wouldn’t have bought it if that had been transparent. I’ll probably try to buy more stuffing and see if I can’t make it better but it’s not great to have to modify &spend extra on something I spent $200 on to enjoy it. Would return it if it was possible to get it back into its box but that’s basically impossible for me. I’m not sensitive to smell usually but it was really strong & chemically so far.
