This was a total joke. I'm not sure if it broke within the first use, or if it was broken when it arrived. Despite the bad reviews, I have it a try. I immediately returned it and continued to use my old extruder, which was a fraction of the price and far more sturdy. Save your time and money.

I waited more than year to purchase this extruder and now that I have used it, I wish I would have bought it sooner! I use mostly Kato and Fimo polymer clays which are very hard to extrude. I found this stainless steel extruder with the cool handle made the extruding process easier. I recommend adding a lubricant to the pushrod threads to make the extruder easier to turn.     • Broke after 2 uses with drill
Internal mechanism got stuck and handle became disassembled after two uses. No way to fix it. Not worth the money. I would much rather buy a $10 version, because the drill adapter seems to be working with that one as well.

I need to use only stainless steel extruders for what I create. This is the second one that I have purchased. I now use 2 extruders for creating my pieces. The turning mechanism works well with my limited hand strength. I like this extruder.

This extruder is a piece of crap. Over the years I have used up quite a few extruders for polymer clay. When I saw that there was a sturdier version, I thought it might be worth the extra money because it was made out of stainless steel. This one didn't even get a start. The crank couldn't go down on the threads at all. It is totally worthless. I oiled the pieces, checked for metal that was loose, and the thing got stuck in about three places. I SHOULD have read and trusted the previous 2 reviewers! What a piece of JUNK! Bought it thinking that newer and more expensive is better, but upon assembly, the push rod and the plunger with o-ring is separated, and there is no way to put it back, the screw and the thread does not fit! Overall it looks good, but failed to do its job. Whats worse for me is I have to pay ridiculous amount for shipping back to Amazon as I am based in Singapore. Very disappointing, and a very expensive mistake!!!! ... show more

terrible. i was hoping this would be a better extruder because of the stainless steel, and because it cost more money, but it was junk. failed me in less than a week. i use it for polymer clay, and i make sure to condition the clay a ton so it's nice and soft before extruding it, but when extruding, the extruder got stuck on the threads in a few places, became rigid, and impossible to push the clay through. don't waste your time on this one like i did. ... show more
