Unfortunately going to have to make time to return the item because the product it was broken on transit. Hopefully they can find a way to package it up more securely to ensure that the mirror doesn’t crack in the future. Otherwise, I think it’s great.

The product does what it’s supposed to do. I wish the material was different. I like to take pics on-the-go a lot of times, so I drop my equipment in whatever bag I’m carrying that day and carry on. Well, this item is a bit bulky and metal so it definitely weighs down my bag. I haven’t attempted to take it into a night club establishment yet because I’m afraid they’ll say I can’t bring it in. And we all know that means a trip back to the car that we never want to take lol. So yes, good product, but I wish it was a different material and easier to fold down into compact. ... show more

The setup includes two items: a phone clamp piece and an adjustable tilt mirror. Pieces can be used together or separated. Items can easily be paired with tripods or selfie stick, providing flexibility and convenience. Both items are solid metal with black paint coating, they are solid and sturdy but not overly heavy. Very well engineered and balanced for durability and performance. They also have standard 1/4" screw connectors and several cold shoe connectors, providing the capability of adding devices as mics, lights and more as deemed necessary. This set gives a good amount of flexibility to the content creator. The phone clamp cam be used in horizontal or vertical positions, easy to adjust. It can accommodate several phone sizes as big as iPhone 14 Pro Max with case. The phone itself is secured and protected by rubber pieces on each side of the clamp and a turn knob that locks the clamp closed, preventing the fall of the device. It also has a cols shoe extension on each side and two other connection for screws on the back. When used in tandem, one of the side shoe connectors is used to attach the mirror to the clamp. The mirror part is also metal with a strong frame. Mirror position is widely adjustable, rotating 360 degrees on the horizontal axis. Each side of the mirror frame have cold shoe connectors for additional devices, those rotate for angle adjustment. The mirror itself is not big, but serves well the purpose of framing the shot. Its size pretty much mimics the dimensions of smartphones screen. Due to its cold shoe connector, this mirror can be paired with other cameras. There is an Allen wrench provided with the set. At first, I did not see the need for it, until discovered the adjustment of mirror tilt and rotation HAVE to be locked in place using this tiny wrench. That is a major drawback, from my point of view, because there is no way to attach it to any other piece of the kit. Why not use knobs like the one on the back pf the clamp? ULANZI, take note to improve on next iteration. All in all, this a very good product; well-designed and manufactured. It is a great addition to any blogger accessories collection.     • Wanted to like it, heavier than advertised, mirror too small

I really wanted to like this. I certainly like the idea of it. I shoot a lot of video, and wanted to simplify my life, but this ain't it. The mirror is so small that I can't see much of my screen or where I am in the field of view (so I have ended up too low in the frame), and it weighs more than twice what's advertised. I am getting 8.1 ounces on my home scale. Not fun to carry around if you're a vlogger, or like me, a hiker/backpacker. It doesn't feel stable when shooting vertically, which I rarely do, but I know a lot of others do this a lot, and it also throws off the balance of the whole setup. Needed a good quality phone mount because all my previous plastic ones are broken. When I saw this one constructed out of aluminium, I knew this would be my answer to the problem. The mirror included is an excellent bonus that I never thought I’d need before. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed how well made the whole set up is. The precise metal construction makes a huge difference compared to the plastic ones I owned before! You can really feel the precision and build quality of the mount and all the tightening knobs has an excellent feel to them. Really impressive and I’m so happy with this set! The mirror is a hair small, but it does work as intended once positioned. Then again, I love how small the set is with the mirror, so I would rather trade off the smaller size than having a bigger mirror. This is certainly great for travelling as I hate carrying bulky gear. The set didn’t have any instructions so I had to mess around with the adjustments quite a bit. Once I figured it all out, the design is actually rather good. The black textured ring is for tightening the phone mount arm rotation, which you can feel a nice detent click at every 90 degrees. The red anodized knob is for locking the phone grip bracket once you have your phone mounted in. That’s pretty much it. Overall, I absolutely highly recommend this set! This is a fantastic mount for your phone. The materials, construction, and design really feels like it will last for a long time! Forget the plastic ones.     • If you mostly record in VERTICAL video, this won't work

This is great for horizontal use, but if mounted to a phone filming vertically (upright), the mirror only shows the bottom half of your screen (if that), which makes this unusable for me. It should be stated this is for horizontal (landscape) recording only. With so much verticle video (in social media) it would be perfect if this were adjustable for that use.
