This is a nice ukulele floor stand. The base is a little small, but it won’t fall over unless you tip it. Shown is with a concert ukulele. The gap is fine for concert and tenor ukuleles, which is larger, and if you’re setting right, it can slide on and off as a stand without releasing the nuts. The foam covering the screw threads and the wood end pieces are both pretty good. I highly appreciate that the Phillips heads (on the “front”) is well secured so they don’t rotate despite tightening the knobs on the back (seems to rotate a hollow standoff with the black plastic knob, rather than turn the threaded screw/shaft). As a tool, there is a small benefit of mounting full time as it can allow your arm to settle your arm farther back to keep the hand over the sound hole a little more naturally, as well as help support the ukelele on that side with your arm. Only small gripe is that it won’t always fit with the ukulele back in the case. It is fine to leave on when playing, even with a neck strap, though if you tighten and have it hold tight, your arm can act as the right anchor without a strap.

This stand is nicely built and works well for my ukulele! I love that the width is adjustable—out of the box, it was a bit too narrow for my instrument, but a quick turn of the knobs made it fit perfectly. I do recommend making it a snug fit or placing the ukulele right in the center, otherwise it might tip occasionally. The overall quality looks great, and it’s so convenient not having to lean my ukulele against a wall or chair between plays. The soft cushioning is a nice touch, giving me confidence that my ukulele won’t get scratched. One note: although the product info mentions it fits ukulele bags, this really depends on the size of your bag. My tighter-fit bag barely accommodates it, so keep that in mind.

Stands for ukuleles are often kind of a pain. Smaller ukes don't fit in guitar stands, and a lot of the smaller collapsing stand designs are kind of flimsy and not well engineered. This clip-on stand can be a bit of a problem solver. On the positive side, it works! And indeed, you can attach it to your uke and just leave it on--it will still fit in a lot of cases or gig bags with it attached, though probably not all. It also tends to help with the "neck dive" issue that many ukes have, simply because they're such featherweight instruments: often, the neck is heavier than the body, which causes the instrument to tip downward at the neck. This adds a touch of weight to the body, and might balance out your neck-heavy uke. On the negative side, I don't like the idea of leaving a padded gadget attached to a ukulele unless it's absolutely necessary, because it's going to slightly dampen the sound. These are already tiny instruments with less resonance than their bigger siblings in the stringed instrument family, and I want to keep as much of those vibrations as I can get! It's a subtle difference that may not bother you as much as me, though.

It is well made with cushioning on the inside to protect the finish of your Ukulele. This is a minimalist approach to design. The stand is made of a tight grained hardwood with a clear finish. The price is reasonable for the value.

I've been frustrated to have my uses just strewn about or leaning on something, as they always fall over or just look like an afterthought. This stand is so simple and does the job right. Place the ukulele on the stand, and tighten the screws so that the padded pieces give the instrument a gentle squeeze. All set. It's a sturdy hold and stabilizes the ukele.

It has a soft interior and the wood outside is nice and durable. It has the logo in the front plus the dials to tighten/ lossen the grip it holds the ukulele. It holds the ukulele well even with a strap on it.
