I know this strap is described as needing a screw, indeed it comes with one. As you can see from the attached pictures, I have found a workaround for that. Those groovy little 3M wall hooks. They make a small clear one you can barely see. If they eventually lose the sticky, just put another on. They don't damage the Uke and you don't have to be afraid of damaging your ukulele by drilling a hole in it. As to the strap, it's awesome. Well worth the money. The materials are of good quality and the stiches and seams all seem strong and well made. Again, use the screw or not, either way this strap is nice. Well made, adjustable and with the overall feel of a strap I will have for many years to come. I'd wager that over years the leather softens and so does the material and you get that well-worn but still beautiful strap that lasts for long enough that you love it. You love it so much that after you've spent years using it and it finally shows weakness you find yourself too attached to just buy a new one and toss it. So you buy a new one and grab some duct tape...you can get another 10 years outa that strap... Stay healthy and well good people. ... show more

I love this strap! It works perfectly on my Mandolin that has a bottom peg already, so no need to install. The fabric is exactly the same as what the case has! Looks like a set! The fabric is soft and fits nicely in the case attached to the mandolin. It is longer than I realized, which makes it adjustable for a wider range of people and desired holding height. I had a different strap for my ukulele which had issuers!! This one just is perfect for stability of the ukulele while playing. The strap does not slip on the back of my neck and the leather head attachment is so much better that just tying it on like other straps.

I got the strap with the loop on the end rather than the strings---seems sturdier and more attractive. I'd advise you to have your guitar dealer put on the button at the end of the body to avoid any marring of the ukulele. It's a job done quickly, but took him several tools to center it properly. A strap is handy when you are playing standing up, or when sitting down, you want both hands free for something like a musical arrangement. ... show more

This is my first ukulele and I think it cost me about $60? So much fun to mess with and the quality seems really good. For the price I paid I was not sure what I was going to get but reading other reviews made this seem like a good choice and it really was. This is a very cheap option for beginners but the build quality, in my opinion, is very good. It holds its tune very well, I only need make minor adjustments here and there.     • Metal Clasp Pops Out

I bought this in October and two months later, the metal clasp will not stay put. It has passed the return deadline, and while the strap is good quality, I cannot say the same about the clasp. It is unusable because it continues to pop out when I put any pressure on it.
