The material is soft and quiet. The fit is a little small so I'd recommend going up a size if you are on the border of a size. I like the patter a lot, it seems pretty versatile and should work for a variety of terrain. There is a slight sheen to the material, but it is not overly reflective of light. This may actually help prevent some of the "fade to black" tendencies of other camo when viewed at a distance. I'd like to see how it looks in night vision or under a black light.. I subtracted one star for the sheen, even though I don't think it will be an issue. I prefer a nice flat color scheme. ... show more

    • these are very big - dont assume they are chinese sized small.
We typically order a size or two larger for clothing bought on amazon. You do not need to for these. The pants are huge! The length on the jacket is good for big and tall men - it is hard to find jackets with long enough arms. But the pant's length is average and the waist is too big for what he needs but he is making do with a belt. The fabric is very quiet for hunting. Does not rustle like other types of clothing. Triple layer construction with a water resistant outer shell is comfortable and QUIET. 9 pockets on jacket and pants let you carry a day needs fir hunting. Hood, Hem and cuffs are all adjustable for ultimate comfort. All stress points are double stitched and has an anti-slip waistband. Safety Strap Compatible. For starters, I really like to fill of the fabric. The camo pattern is pretty nice and I love how quiet it is. It is true to size and I got the 2X and it fits me perfectly. They say it’s waterproof and warm, I haven’t had a chance to test that out yet, but I am going to this weekend so far looks like a really good and well built product and I will definitely be using it this year. ... show more

Our oldest is starting to go hunting with us more often and needed some hunting gear. Just like everything else there are levels to the game and we started them off with this which is affordable and works beautifully for him. He’ll be bigger and stronger next year and it’ll probably fit him within two years perfectly. It’s hard to buy a growing boy the right clothes That he won’t be throwing away in six months or a year.
