Normally, I start a review with what I like best, but this frame has three issues that might put people off, so let's get those out of the way. First, the 10.1-inch size looks best at a distance of up to six feet. Second, each picture has to be individually uploaded into the internal memory. Third, the power port is awkwardly located at the top of the frame when viewing in portrait mode. Get past those issues and you'll love this. The pictures look gorgeous, their quality blows away our larger, more expensive frame. The robust software provides many options. Each photo can be individually adjusted, at least to an extent, to fit the frame's dimensions. It can sleep and wake up as needed. It can read from an external microSD card. I can add pictures remotely using the app and, perhaps the best feature for distant relatives, friends can also add pictures remotely. It makes a great gift. I got this for our elderly mother-in-law and 350 of her pictures only took up about 1/4 of the internal memory. Pictures taken with newer cameras take up between 1000 - 9000 Kb, so expect about 1500 photos to fill the memory. We had to spend several hours uploading each photo individually, tweaking each for optimal viewing. That was painful, but once done it looks beautiful. A word about size. The 10.1-inch size is measured diagonally and that's hard to translate into picture size. Our 15.5-inch frame has more than twice the viewing area (remember c² = a² + b²). To assist, I took a photo from a distance of six feet to show how the frame appears in a room. The viewing area is significantly smaller than a piece of 8.5" by 11" paper, but substantially larger than a 4" by 6" photo. For the right person (and my mother-in-law is that right person), this frame proves fantastic. While I don't mean to dwell on the negatives, it's important to find the product that meets your needs.

This is a nice digital picture frame. The frame itself is decent quality, and the touchscreen itself is responsive. Picture quality is nice too, reasonably sharp with good color saturation. Pretty happy with this item.

I'd read reviews, so when I received it, I already had the Uhale app downloaded. It took me about 10 minutes to get the frame on wifi, create a log in, pair the app with the frame and transfer some pictures over. It was very easy. That said, if you're gifting this to someone who might struggle with blue tooth set up, it would be a good idea to pre-load it with some pictures. One thing I love about this is the size. It's big. It can be displayed in either portrait or landscape mode. The image quality is fantastic - colors are true and images are clear. I love that I can provide friends or family members with individual codes, and they can send their own pictures to the frame. When a new picture arrives, an alert chime plays (you can adjust volume.) It displays the email of the person who sent each picture, on the lower left of the picture. You can turn that feature on or off in settings, as well as time & weather wherever you are. It can also receive and play videos. The settings and interface are much simpler and more intuitive than I'd expected. The directions are clearly written and comprehensive, which is also important if you're gifting it to an older person. This is not the first time I've used a digital photo frame, but it's been one of the largest and simplest I've tried. Given the price point, its functionality, interface quality and clarity of instructions were a pleasant surprise. My parents are in their 70s and I have no doubt that they could set this up and view images easily.

This is a great digital photo frame! I bought this since I wanted a nice photo frame for my room to showcase my photos from my photo album. This is great since the app is easy to use and it was also very easy to set up. It took <10 minutes for me and uploading pictures and connecting to WiFi was very easy. You can control the speed, have several people add photos to the frame, and also upload pictures! I set up my bedtime and wakeup time too, so it will automatically turn on and off when I sleep/wake up. Overall I love this and have no complaints! The quality of the pictures are decent too, overall I would highly recommend! Perfect for anyone looking for a nice gift for the holidays as well.

This digital picture frame is really easy to use. You can upload and display pictures/videos from your electronic devices through the uhale app from anywhere so long as WiFi is connected. You can also invite others to share their photos and videos as well which is a nice feature. The pictures are good quality and the videos are just okay. The touch screen makes it very easy to change settings, adjust pictures, or move to other photos more quickly. There is a speaker in the unit that will play sound from videos. You can control volume or mute the sound on the videos. But, this is my main issue. For whatever reason, the speaker will audibly click/chirp every so often when not playing a video. While it may seem minor, sitting in a quiet room trying to read with the frame occasionally making a noise only accentuates this sound. It becomes something you can’t ignore and is very noticeable. It is enough of an irritant to leave the frame unplugged which is too bad as everything else works well.
