I found this in a YouTube review for KMV switches. During the video, what sold it to me was the ease of setup and use. It will wake your computer up from sleep and easily switch between computers effortlessly. Also works in bios, no issue. they also have a USB 3.0 Version which the review on youtube outlined " you dont need 3.0 for just keyboard and mouse, but if you were wanting to do data transfers than the 3.0 version would be a better option, although the other version is 29.99 and this one is 19.99 ...but they both include a 5v type c port for extra power but the type c cord nor the charging block is included with this unit. But all in all it works great, I've had it for a few weeks now and no issues. would definitely recommend to others that are looking for a simple solution, like I was on running one keyboard and mouse for two different computers. No software needs to be installed, includes two Type A USB 2.0 cables to run to either computer. The unit is smaller than the box it comes in. It kind of fooled me. But still a powerhouse of a KM switch and does what I need to when I need it too. And for the price, you can't beat it. ... show more

Setup was simple and everything needed is included. Works exactly as described. I can switch from one pc to the other with the push of a button and my mouse and keyboard switch with it. Great product by a good company.

    • Useful albeit with mild concerns about build quality and USB longevity
Very effective for trying to connect multiple devices to the same mouse and keyboard. Latency is pretty good, and seems to also still provide power. At one point I was even able to get my webcam to pass through but it struggled a little bit with bandwidth. It was able to handle the audio from my microphone as well as both my mouse and keyboard. Overall I recommend it but I sort of acknowledged that the device has some shortcomings. The main one appears to be build quality in that they have to have the USBs inserted at a particularly weird angle that makes me feel like it might be slightly broken but I'm somewhat unsure whether or not this is the case. It's very small. It fits nicely on my desk. Installation was easy; it literally was plug and play. It's a little hard to see the LED indicators so the brightness perhaps could be a concern but overall it was a fairly good device. ... show more

Got this for my work from home setup to easily switch my USB devices between my work and personal computers. Works like a charm. Cables all set up in the back, with the little switchboard set up neatly on my desktop. Switches at the press of a button. No more plugging and unplugging devices to different computers. And I paired this with some HDMI cable switchers as well, so I can switch my monitors over with the press of a button as well.     • Solved my problem !
The uGreen USB Switch solved my problem (details below). The Problem: I was trying to replace my wired mouse (shared between two PC's, through a KVM USB port), with a new wireless mouse. I found that the wireless mouse receiver would not work through the "Console" USB on my KVM (my KVM console ports only accept "simple HID" USB devices). The Solution: The uGreen switches all 4 USB 2.0 inputs to one of it's two USB outputs, which go to my two PC's. This allows the wireless mouse receiver (and the 3 other USB inputs) to be switched between the two PC's. I have to push two buttons now to switch PC's, but, now I can share the wireless mouse between two PC's. One minor issue: there's no power supply included. That shouldn't be a problem with keyboard/mouse, but higher power devices might overload the switch or cause glitches, so a separate 5V/2A USB C power supply is highly recommended. The power supply should ONLY be fixed 5V/2A, not Variable ! ... show more

    • Junk. Errors galore!
This is a lot easier on the eyes than my old ioGear KMV. I like having the two additional USB ports, but there are two things that really disappoint the hell out of me for my needs. 1) it cant wake my Windows 10 machine. Nothing I do will wake it up with the KMV attached. 2) it doesn't have even close to enough power to drive my crappy little Sound BlasterX DAC/AMP. I know that one was just wishful thinking, but I thought with the added power being supplied it would at least be able to drive my speakers enough that it wouldn't be a painful experience (when the DAC/AMP doesn't get enough consistent power, my speakers scream at full volume when I which from one machine to another). It has been working well otherwise and being a much cleaner solution than my old (and ugly) ioGear KMV, I will be keeping it and looking further into this wake problem. Perhaps this one is a lemon? Because it doesn't seem like many other people have this problem. UPDATE: After 6 months of use and trying to get it to work right, I have concluded that this thing is a piece of trash. I have gotten two of these and they both have the same issues. on the mac, I get constant errors in my console, the AMPDevixceDiscoveryAgent cant see this thing properly, giving me disconnect error every few seconds, they aren't all the same, it's about 5-7 different connect errors. And quite often I will have to plug and unplug to get it to work at all. And my PC has never been able to re-establish a connection with it after the button is pressed to switch over to the other device. So I have to get up, go over to my pc and wake it before my kb and mouse will work. And I've tried this on two completely different PCs. With their Bios set to default. My old switch didn't have any of these problems. Also, the issue with power is still a thing, if I have more than 2 devices connected to this thing, both computers will crash as soon as they go to sleep. Such a piece of garbage... ... show more

I've had it for 2 months as part of my set up to switch between work and personal laptops during the day (have a similar type switch for the HDMI connections using one monitor. There is a very slight lag when switching but it's hardly noticeable especially since I have to click a button on the monitor switch. I'm using this switch for my wired laptop and wireless mouse. My mouse sometimes loses scrolling functionality on the little wheel on top of it but I have a button on the mouse that I can quickly click to resolve that.
