  • The Only Power Bank You’ll Ever Need for Laptop + Phone Charging!
I've tested a LOT of power banks over the years, but this UGREEN Nexode 165W unit is on another level. It powers my MacBook Pro at 100W and still charges my phone at 65W-simultaneously! The built-in retractable USB-C cable is a genius move. No more tangled cords in my tech pouch, and it's the perfect length. I love that it recharges itself in under 2 hours with a 100W wall charger (which I pair with UGREEN's 45W GaN charger). It's slim enough to toss in a backpack, feels premium in the hand, and the digital readout on the screen is super helpful. If you travel, work remote, or just need reliable backup power-this is it. Pros: Super fast output (100W + 65W) Fast recharge (100W input = full in 1.9 hours) Built-in USB-C cable = no clutter Sleek and pro design 🔌 Cons: Slightly pricey, but worth every penny Full review video on YouTube @ MoneyMarrowTech ... show more

  • Fast charging (input and output) large capacity - miniature power station
This is a really nice fully featured portable laptop charger. The biggest draw is the high 100W input and output which is more than enough to charge my laptop and keep it going. 20,000mah capacity is pretty decent and quickly makes this a one stop charging device that would fit the needs of all the portable devices in addition to the laptop. As a result - it is bulky (like a small brick) but totally reasonable for a battery pack of this power and capacity. The display is pretty awesome, filled with whimsical animations and just pretty handy information. It comes with a retractable built in USB-C cable (which is awesome) along with a usb a out and usb-c in/out port. Simultaneous charging is not a problem. Craftsmanship looks solid - built well and looks like it could just be thrown in a bag with no issue, but it does come with a drawstring felted back as well for carrying. I really liked how quickly it charges - was surprised how quickly it charged from 50% to 100% - was on the go in no time. Overall - love this as a backup power solution when traveling and going away for a few days. It's my new go to traveling power station i can keep in my backpack. ... show more

  • Perfect power bank for charging on the go
This power bank is seriously impressive. The charging speed is excellent; I've tested it with a laptop and phone plugged in at the same time and it keeps up with no issue at all. The 165W output is no joke and feels like overkill in the best way. I especially love the retractable USB-C cable, it makes it so much easier to travel with without worrying about keeping track of cords. It tucks in neatly and adds to the clean design. With 20,000mAh capacity, it lasts a long time. I've used it to charge my phone multiple times and still had battery left to spare. It recharges incredibly fast too, much faster than any of my older power banks. Being able to get a full recharge in under 2 hours is a huge bonus when traveling or needing it to be ready quickly. For the price, I think it offers excellent value. The build feels solid, it performs consistently, and the capacity and functionality make it well worth it. If you're looking for a high-powered, reliable travel companion for keeping your devices topped off, this is one I’d highly recommend. ... show more

  • One of the best USB power banks I've used; fun animations
The device is generously programmed, with animations for various states of charge as well as pressing the sole button repeatedly, and goodbye/hello screens. The screen displays useful information about the state of charge, time remaining to charge/discharge at current rates, and the voltage/current + direction of flow on individual ports (though I find it to not be particularly accurate, but it's not >10% off at >5W flow). Voltage sag is substantial but unlikely to affect anything noticeably for a regular user; with just 2A out on 15V, voltage sags 200mV. As with every other USB battery bank I've tested, there's no way to set a port or the device to either in or out mode; it's a shot in the dark whether the device will act as sink or source, particularly when you want to charge another USBC power bank -- the workaround for this is to charge other battery banks over USBA, but this charges significantly slower. Discharge test (at both 12V and 15V) from full charge indicates around 65Wh of usable capacity (around [email protected] after conversion and other losses). As a rule, I remove a star from every USB battery bank I review for advertising mAh instead of Wh (which is essentially all of them). It is not a ding against the product's design or build quality, or its price; it's just a disapproval of what I perceive as misleading marketing. We don't know what battery chemistry you're using, so is it 20Ah at 3.2V, 3.7V, something else? It's never at a voltage the user is outputting at since the lowest USB-supported voltage is 5V, right? If I gave you Ah from my 12V-15V discharge test, I would say this battery has 5500mAh of capacity, so is this product a scam that only provides 1/4 the advertised mAh? No, but it would be appreciated if you very clearly told us how much *energy* the battery stores rather than just "charge." You could use miliWatthours if you want a big number, right? 65000mWh is a bigger number than 20000mAh. For curiosity fulfillment, I attached a trigger module and sent 12V and 15V to a car inverter. Over a single port, the power bank will supply ~35W over 12V, ~45W over 15V (the power bank's overcurrent protection kicks on above this). The inverter was able to power an AC fan and a 15W USBC wall charger. Overall, user-side, it's a very well-designed, compact, and convenient power bank, one of the best I've reviewed to date. ... show more
