When first opening this package I was surprised how lightweight it is and how condensed this tripod is compared to how tall it can get. The legs have 3 latches that control how extended the tripod can get. The latches feel well made and secure so the tripod won't accidentally buckled from a bad latch. The phone/camera holder has a ball-and-socket joint so you can adjust the pitch, yaw, and roll of the holder to get different angles for pictures. I'm going to use this product to video tape myself working out to make sure I have good form and would also probably use it to video tape myself playing music. I purchased a pair of night vision binoculars and needed a tripod to use with them. This tripod is exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight but very sturdy and easy to set up and collapse back down to fit nicely in the provided sleeve/bag. Great product and reasonable price.
