Warning topless photo showing smart layout and design! This model 1610s is Ready-To-Run and overpowered out the gate, the 60a esc is mounted on top of the steering servo with brushless motor at the back; all hardware is from monoclonius. Using this same setup there is also an upgrade package to 56mph for other models from udi and I'm guessing other 1/16. This gear would seriously wake up an older car, assuming you are mechanically inclined, since there is a lack of directions. I'm hoping to upgrade to a larger gens ace 3s battery, given the extra space. Comes with an all metal drivetrain but all plastic chassis; not exactly waterproof but thankfully haven't gone swimming yet. Don't let that scare you off, udi rc makes several upgrades. As you can see I attached the wheel tool above battery to re-attach wheels that launch off during most runs thanks to abundance of power, orange loctite is on the way. As other reviews have mentioned this is not a beginner toy it's a beast, all I've broken so far after surviving a young childs spirited run through the trees was the front bumper brace, easily replaceable. Might try a metal front bumper from one of the other brands, still have an open spot on reciever for an LED light bar as well. Included front and rear lights were a great bonus, controller range is excellent as well! Ordering the widened suspension and bigger tires/metal beadlock wheels with silicone inserts, stock wheels have a hard time taking all that power. Speed test up next, will report back, have yet to top her out! All parts are high quality and durable in my experience so far. Easily outperforms an older 1/16 truggy I had, luckily same size wheels but a metal chassis or at least skid panel would be a huge benefit for this new model. Only competition I can find is a new deerc 1/16 brushless that would make for an interesting race, also claims 56mph. Hard to find a better value, given incredible speed and capability without need for upgrades but thankful Udi make a solid lineup of upgrades still. Currently have a rear differential that broke, been less than a year since I bought it, they said it was under warranty, so they are sending me a new one. I can only run it on like 35% throttle power otherwise it just flips right backwards thing is insane and super durable I jumped it 12 ft easy into the air with a ramp I made and it landed hard half a dozen times and nothing broke still runs and drives fantastic... Don't forget to locktight the wheels before driving it or they will come off! ... show more

Wow, where to begin. The thing has incredible amounts of instant torque. Even with the controller set to limit the power to just 50%, it does wheelies! At 100%, it effortlessly does backflips! Real-world electric cars are kind of a scam, in my opinion. Long charging times, few chargers and long lines, high electricity prices with electric power coming from coal or diesel, and so on. But some of them, such as the one that originally you could get in any color you wanted, so long as it was red, the acceleration is incredible. Well, that's certainly what you get with this toy truck, multiplied. Competitively priced with more power than you'll ever need. Loads of fun! Get this truck! ... show more

Worth every single penny! I have many different little rc cars. The 1610S is my go to car to bash every time ! I bought the wide kit afterwards and that has helped the handling so much. Its fast, tough and very reliable. The customer service is amazing to work with. I worked with Lena .. she is absolutely incredible at her job . If your on the fence about this little car, dont be ! This little car is amazing! Its insanely fast! Almost too fast. But you can control how fast it goes on the remote. I did have a wheel fly off, but I was pushing it hard. It was fairly easy to find the parts and repair it. Its not great on grass,but is excellent on the road. Haven't tried in dirt.

This is a great rc car for the price it is really fast and has lots of torque and the servo has lots of power and is very fast. The servo broke but they responded quickly and sent a new one. We also got upgrade wheel hubs and they seem like great quality. Overall it is really good.
