For $28 this was a steal. The quality isn’t the best, assembly took awhile to get the hang of but isn’t difficult. The only thing missing were the straps to secure the opening on the top, so I had to put the cover behind the stand.I’m not expecting this to last me a lifetime but for the price it’s hard to beat. I would probably buy again, just be weary of the quality control. ... show more

At this price point, I really wasn’t expecting much, but figured if it got my shoes organized on some level, I’d be happy. This little (maybe not so little) shoe rack is a true gem. At first glance, the 8,000 pieces seemed a bit daunting. But, it actually pieced together rather smoothly. And, to address the folks complaining that it comes apart when you try to move it, they just hadn’t pushed the corners together all the way. Once everything is together snuggly, you could throw this thing across the room and it wouldn’t come apart. I assembled it in my living room, then carried it to the bedroom closet (one handed) and nothing came loose. The nylon panels that make up the shelves are very sturdy and seem like they might last a long time. I dropped one star based on the quality of the cover. It’s OK, but would benefit from additional ties at the front corners. Unfortunately, the side pockets (for sandals) are on the side that I had to put up against the wall, so I’m unable to use them. Pockets on both sides would have been beneficial. Honestly, I’d be happy with it even if I didn’t use the cover at all. But, it will help keep the dust off those dress shoes and heavy boots that I need to keep but rarely wear. Overall, a good solution. It was great easy to build if you have Jordan’s like size 10 and up the top of you shoes are going to bump the bar putting them in and taking them out but they will fit just right sitting inside but other than that perfect fit and just like the pictures.

This is the second time I’ve bought this shoe rack and I love it. However this last time it was missing one of the floor/feet pieces making it rock a bit. It didn’t take long at all to assemble, and it holds a lot of shoes!

It's not a regular shelf unit, but more than enough for a shoe rack. During assembly you need to be careful not to break anything, the rack becomes more sturdy once fully assembled but the individual pieces are quite fragile. It looks super tidy (especially with the cover) and works perfectly well as a shoe rack. I've even put hiking boots on it and they fit well. It takes about three pairs of (something) per shelf.
