My coat arrived on time and I tried it on right away. I am so happy with it. First, the looks - that asymmetrical zipper looks so cool. The material feels good and the whole coat is lighter in weight than my other chef coats. It has the pen/thermometer pocket on the upper left arm. There is a button closure at the neck, which I didn't even realize at first, the coat closes well even without having that buttoned. The mesh vents look very subtle, I was afraid it was going to look quite open-mesh-y but that is not so. I do hope the mesh inserts help keep me cooler in summer. And surprise, not even listed on the features, is the option to roll up your sleeves and SNAP BUTTON into place! I am always re-adjusting my sleeves to stay rolled up above the elbow so this unexpected feature is awesome. The coat definitely is tailored fit for a woman's shape, maybe it will soften in appearance once washed and dried, but even right out of the package, slightly wrinkled, it looks great! For size reference, I am 5' 5", about 140 lbs, wide shoulders. I don't even need a second one but I want to buy a second one right away, because you know when you find something you love, you want another one ! ... show more

Love this coat- I actually prefer it to the Chef Works version! The Chef Works coat (size small) was gigantic on me, and the x-small was so tight I couldn’t breathe or move my arms. I’m 5’9, 150 lbs and this coat in a small fits perfect- slim in the waist, not too long, and flattering on the female figure! And half the price. I bought this in white as well, and the fit was good. It sits properly and I had no real issue with the sizing or comfort. My hesitation is more about the overall look. Even in white, it still gives me more of a bartender, server, or uniform feel than the elevated accessory look I was hoping for. I wanted something that could dress up an outfit, but this does not quite achieve that for me. It may work well for costumes, themed looks, uniforms, or casual styling, but I would not choose it for a chic or polished outfit.
