I usually buy my shirts in large as I have a wide chest and if you'd like a coat to suit you a little more fitted, I would recommend a medium. I love how light and comfortable this is. It's very stylish and keeps you cool in the high heat kitchens. Buy more than one!

Very nice jacket, light, breathable but way too big. I typically wear medium to Large and had to return the medium because it looked very big and got me a small (5,11, 190 lbs) . Short sleeves are very long so you would want to roll them up a bit, unless you like Chef Jackets that look very loose and do not look great, order a size under your typical size. I wish they shortened the sleeves and made the jacket overall fit a bit more stylish, and then it would be a 5 star ... show more

    • Its slimming, and you're not too sexy for it
I'll start off by saying at first i had my doubts. the back "cool vent" feels like ultra thin fabric that well feels cheap. But after using it for a while working in various sweltering kitchens (saunas will feel like hockey rings in comparison) its grown on me. I usually like to test things out and get a feel for em before i say anything about em. This one definately earned my seal of approval. The thing feels like a regular chef coat, but its more vented, so if you're working in the northwest id get a longer sleeved coat and just roll the sleeves up cause the cold will grip you when you're in the walk in fridge or freezer. Its great, its a decent price (Keep scrolling down your search results, you'll see it gets worse price wise) so i say, if you're a cook, you wanna stay cool, this isn't a bad choice. I haven’t even worn it in the kitchen yet but I’ve had jobs buy this coat for me before and they’re honestly the best. The half back ventilation keeps you super comfortable, doesn’t mean you won’t sweat but it breathes super well, and the stitching is so durable it stands up 100% better than the cheaper jackets available out there. If you want comfort and to avoid seam rips under your arms from repetitive reaching motions then it’s completely worth the money. ... show more
