I have been taking cardio drumming classes at our local fitness center and wanted new drumsticks to use. These are great! They are lightweight, and easy to grip, no matter how sweaty my hands become. I like the bright colors and that I got two sets for the money. I can't really speak to whether they would be good for actual drums, but they are great for fitness drumming! ... show more

    • Easy to spot in the dark, and bulletproof

Seriously, I break things. And lose things. Even when there is no reasonable way, and it's full daylight. But then again, have you ever stepped on a drumstick in your bare feet? It like a Lego, but a little rounded! Best drumsticks ever, considring the color can even be seen in the dark (especially inblack light) ...and the fact that this is the same material that they make "self healing" gun range targets out of, they could last forever, even if the dog thinks they're a chew toy. You might have to sand them back into shape a little, but the shipping that Fido provided can give you some extra grip. They won't kill any vampjre lbut don't tell them that), and you can pick Team Edward or Team Jacob freely to your hearts content. You can also buy a matching rubber ring to go around and offer extra grip, but you're a drummer and you already know this, right? If you try hard enough, you adults (only) can reshape these with a heat gun to make custom never-seen-before stick. Just make sure to give me credit where it is due. If you don't melt them to a custom shape they still make great jedi lights ayers. ZRrrnnnn zrNNNNNN ... show more

Pretty good, but I prefer wood so I don't reach for them as I thought I would. When my hands get sweaty and I start tossing wood sticks, then I reach for these. The feel is a bit heavy for me, but they are good sticks.

After 50~ years of wanting my own drum kit, I finally got one! Yay me! I grabbed some electric drums with mesh heads, and have been enjoying the hell out of them! I’ve been using my favorite Vic Firth 5A sticks, and as I do now, I have always loved them! The only problem is, I’m not this amazing drummer who rips around the set flawlessly. I’m just a guitarist who has always loved the drums. Not having any sort of technique down, I manage to involuntarily toss my sticks across the room, sending my cat out the door in fear of her life! I’m just clumsy that way! 🤷🏽♂️ I also grabbed a decent practice pad, and the Vic’s just don’t seem to fit right for some reason. So they wind up sticking out of an adjacent wall, or impaling my guitar amp or pictures. I saw these, and it looked like they would be perfect for me to practice with throughout my learning stage! They had great reviews, looked amazing, and were recommended for mesh drum heads. I was still leery though; they looked much lighter, and they looked like a kid’s toy. I’m a big kid, so I bought them… When they arrived, they were very nice! The weight was good; not as heavy as Vic likes, but plenty heavy enough, and the grip seemed perfect! But, one set sat in my stick holder, and the other set in the stick holder of the practice pad bag. I guess I was still leery about them. I finally tried them out, and !holy frijole!, they were awesome! The slightly lighter weight made it easier to move around the set, and that grip! I only dropped them once, due to my stick challenged hands, and they hit the ground next to me! There was no launching the across the room! Unfortunately, my cat won’t come in the house when I get anywhere near my kit, and I still have challenged hands. But we don’t talk about that when they’re exposed. They’re a little sensitive about it. ... show more

I enjoy cardio drumming classes where I use these great drum sticks ! I like having my own sticks so I don't spread germs by using the provided ones . Unlike wooden sticks , these don't splinter or break . Very sturdy and the grips on the end help so they won't fly out of your hand while you are banging the drum ! ... show more
