Upon initial receipt of this item: let me just say the packaging is awesome; no doubts of a defective product receipt. Amazon also did a fantastic job at delivery (as per usual). After removing this product from its packaging; however, ease of installation was immediately perceived. It snaps in to place quickly - just be weary of the screen as one can easily crack the display if you apply too much pressure to the bezels. Other than the installation, everything is great with this product. As per my title of this review: the one caveat is this thig WILL add a lot of weight to your Surface Laptop Go. It's heavy with this case on it.

FANTASTIC CASE! This case is great, it fits snugly and securely even with how narrow the edges on the Surface Laptop Go are. The negative reviews that mention that this doesn't fit clearly purchased the incorrect case for the computer they own which is 100% their fault for not reading the product description not the companies. This case fits perfectly if you have the Microsoft Surface Laptop GO (12.4in screen), not any of the other Surface laptops. It isn't bulky and makes me feel confident that my new computer is protected.

It fits nicely and looks good, but the cutout for the charging cable is routed wrong way, that is to attach the cable you have to attach it with the cable going towards the front of the computer, which is incovenient.

I dig this case a lot. Use my Surface Laptop Go for work so I keep it in a backpack and it feels a lot more protected. The case fits perfectly. I've read reviews of people stating case does not fit and I noticed they were trying to install the case upside down in their pictures lol. So worry not, case fits great and my laptop WILL close all the way.

Overall all features are within this case except probably two of the most important features, properly fits,…and locks…the case does not sit perfectly with the laptop, whoever did the measurements for the cut outs on the back end obviously can’t use a measuring tape and they must have got tired or forgot to put hooks to hold it onto the laptop even if there is too much space between it. And there is no “dual lock closure system”. Not even sure why it’s a TM, it’s practically just a random sentence…Anyway, no, I don’t suggest buying it, but sadly, for some reason when this specific computer came out, nobody else on the market decided to take the good chance of investing in making hard protective cases other than this company. So if you are looking for a…”protective case”…this is the only option, unless you know how to make one for yourself. If anyone else in the reviews says it’s “perfect” and “fits” it’s probably a lie and someone from the company might have altered a case so it fits, or has it held down from the inside. I also suggest buying protective glass for the screen just in case, you can never be too careful, especially with this faulty product…

I dislike that the cover does not fit the bottom half of the laptop properly. Also, cover will not allow the laptop to close flush. Design flaw and or my cover is out of spec. I was expecting better from UAG as they make great cellphone covers. I missed my return window due to being out of the country. However, I am going to contact them and request a replacement.
