I got the black key for myself and the stainless steel medal for my husband. The steel one really quite lovely. It has this beautiful soft white background that makes the silver of the necklace pop. It looks beautiful and feels nice to the touch. The key is smaller than expected (not a problem, I was worried that it would be too large) and if I'm being honest, not quite what I pictured. It's clearly a well made piece, but whatever it is they used to get the black coating obscures the fine detailing which I find a little disappointing as I like to look at the imagery during meditation and prayer. I think I was under the impression that the key itself would have been a dark colored metal and not (I assume) coated with something to change its color. That said, the chains they come with feel nice and sturdy and match the color of the pendants. 4 stars because even though I was a little let down with the key, they are still thoughtfully made, beautiful pieces. My husband and I ended up trading because I was so taken with the steel one and he really liked the key. ... show more
