These are very thin (thinner than doggie poo bags) so a minimal use of plastic. They work best in cans that have a retainer ring. The ones I've used didn't leak but they have little strength so don't lift/carry, just dump the can. The value is here... maybe not have to buy bags again? Double the number of bags I bought 16 years ago. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that I'm comparing them to my former bags, which were heavier and didn't slide down as often. ... show more
