This literally is so amazing, you can treat it just as a normal laptop easy to use keys and I thought that since it was magnetic it my iPad would fall right out if I tried to carry it, NOPE literally stuck in place, unless your purposely trying to take it off, it’s so easy just tap your finger and go, I thought that it wouldn’t close all the way because of a different review but it works amazing, also thought it would be hard to pair but all I did was put my iPad in and went to Bluetooth and it automatically connected.     • Keyboard stops intermittently for no discernible reason

When I first opened this keyboard case, I loved the design. Unfortunately, the keyboard is really finicky and difficult to use. I’ll be typing away and (maybe?) my hand brushes over the touchpad and suddenly, the keyboard ceases to work. It takes minutes of fussing with it to figure out how to get it working again. I just hate, hate, hate this keyboard!!!! Lowered my rating because I continually need to “forget this device” and re-pair, even in the middle of typing. It’s just terrible! ... show more

I love this device. It felt amazing and the keyboard even lit up. I owned an iPad case before but this one far surpassed that one. The connection was very smooth. Even with the lights to the highest brightness, the keyboard lasted for hours while I wrote to others. There are other more expensive side cases - paying Apple the usual brand tax for their case doesn't seem to justify the Apple logo - case looks good, fits perfectly and works really well. Keys work like a full size keyboard with tactile feel that allows for prolonged use. Recommend it.

However, there isn't much versatility on how you can angle it and when it is fully angled the iPad hovers over the numerical keys and the power button is nearly impossible to operate. if you plan on interacting with the world outside of Apple, do not buy this. In principle, this is a wonderful product, reasonably priced with good features and build quality. HOWEVER, there is apparently no support for an ESC key or equivalent. This is a major miss and makes working with virtual desktops for Windows environments difficult/impossible. I realize this is an Apple oriented product, but even in this space, many/most keyboards have a way to generate the equivalent of an escape keypress. This oversight makes this keyboard an interesting toy, but quite useless for me. This is what I ended up with after interacting with support both through the website and their phone number.
