I only used flat irons to straighten my hair before, and I was skeptical at this comb through straightener. Like it doesn't work as well as a flat iron, but I think that's just a skill issue on my part. I have frizzy hair, and it's really wavy and curly at some parts, but when I just brushed it through with this, the frizz was pretty much gone, and it was straighter than it was before. If I brush it from underneath, it straightens much better than brushing it normally. For me, it takes a while to heat up, since it's running on battery power and not straight from the wall. But that's relative. I do like that it has a little plug that disables the on button though, since I've had many an electronic turn on in my bag before. I for sure will be using this for travel instead of a huge flat iron though, since this is about the size of a banana. I've been converted.

This portable hair straightener is really neat. Size doesn't take to much space to travel with or even just add to your bag if you desire, and it can be used for a few purposes to style your hair. My hair is naturally pin straight but I got this to try and see if it can help simply turn the ends in a little bit and maybe even add a little bit of volume on top. It works very well! Easy to use. May get my hair layered a little more so that the effect is more stylish, but so far love it. Like the various temperature settings. Am very pleased with it! Feels high quality and comes in a nice case for easy storage.

This is ideal size for traveling. It took 2 hours to charge but died while I was straightening my hair. Took 30 mins to die while I was still trying to go thru my hair. It also did not straighten my hair as well as I would have likes. The battery doesn't last long so you'd have to rush thru your hair so avoid waiting another 2 hours to charge

This TYMO cordless hair straightener brush comes with everything you need in the box. It contains the hair straightener brush, plus a charging cable (type C), two hair clips, and a nice storage bag that fits everything. It’s small and easy to use, but a little heavier than I expected. The 3-level temperature adjustment works well. I love that this straightener has auto shut off too. When I used it, I found that the brush heats up quickly. My hair is thin and curly. The brush was able to straighten my hair with little effort. It reduced frizz somewhat also. The TYMO Cordless Hair Straightener Brush - Porta ECO only works with hair types 2A to 3B. See the product information on Amazon for details. They have another hair straightener brush that works on other hair types. TIPS: • If using in the car, you might want to have a safe place to put it down when it’s hot. I’m planning on using a professional heat resistant mat. • Don’t lose the small anti-start plug. When you take it out, put it in the bag right away for safe keeping.

This thing is so awesome! I can take it anywhere. With summer being here already, and as much as I sweat, this comes in so handy! I don't have to find a plug. I can do my hair in the car, or anywhere. I love that. Plus it works well, and fast! Ican get my waist length hair done in about 5 mins! I also don't feel like I'm just mooshing my hair flat like when I use a flat iron. With this I feel like I'm actually detangling, and straightening without it coming back curly after 10 minutes with a regular iron. So this for me is a great, and very useful hairstyler! I love it, and I highly recommend that if you straighten your hair, then this is most definitely recommended.

Product either doesn’t heat or takes too long to heat (over 24 hrs). Product never gets hot enough to do anything. Temps don’t change as instructions instruct. Used C charger included in package. I don’t see how this product could ever be used in a car as advertised. Maybe I got a bum device but it’s seems it wouldn’t be that difficult to get it right.
