Installation was super easy, took about 20 minutes total. Didn't even need to remove the throttle body to get the bad alternator out and replace it with this one. Battery jumped right away to 14.46v as soon as the car started Seems very well built and it is a 100% OEM fit (screws, plate, connectors). I let it run for about 10min, then turn AC on, full blast and everything was working properly, I revved it and no weird sounds were heard. As of right now I am happy with the product and will update my review if something happens within the warranty period which I believe is one year starting today!

My 06 mustang gt runs better than ever now! I've had the "Check Charging System" message on my dash for the past couple months and I finally decided to check the voltage on the alternator and battery. Turns out I had a bad alternator. I bought this TYC alternator replacement and installed it the other day. Fits like a glove. The check charging system message is gone and the voltages are within normal parameters.

Don’t waste your time on this one. I installed it after also buying a brand new battery and of course cleaning the throttle body. When I first installed, it worked fine but battery light and ‘check charging unit’ kept coming on and off every 30 mins or so when driving so next day I checked it and made sure the connectors were in all the way and then I took it on a 2 hour drive to the city and back and worked fine for 4 days or so but now it’s been 2 weeks and the last time I drove back home from the city when I reached 80mph the ABS and Traction Control and battery lights kept going on and CD/ radio kept resetting and sure enough the ‘check charging unit’ comes on again and now even when I just drove my son to school 3 miles from home going 20-30mph. Battery voltage is also going to high and I know the battery is working fine it’s brand new and I got it tested and that’s not the issue. I don’t want to risk getting left stranded anywhere so I am returning this before my 30 day return window gets shut and thankfully will be getting a refund. I’m going to auto parts store today to get one with lifetime warranty instead. This made me waste lots of time. Don’t waste yours, pay the few extra $20-$50 bucks and get you one that’ll work for years and not days.

I was skeptical about purchasing this alternator at this price. But so far so good. I was looking for a low price because my customers alternator seized up along with the A/C clutch and the idler pulleys and tensioner needed to be replaced as well. Everything was purchased on the cheap though Amazon and worked out great.

Well it conked out after 5 years and maybe 10,000 miles. Not bad honestly, given I paid $50 for it. But it's $140 now, and that's not worth it. Just go buy the OEM one.

Exactly as described. Installed into my 2007 Mustang GT with no issues and resolved my problem. Packaging couldn't have been any less insulated. The box was beaten up badly and torn. No issues after 2 months of installation thankfully and no reason to believe there will be any in the future. 5 stars for the product, 0 for shipping, and 4.5 for overall satisfaction. Thank you for the part.

I was getting intermittent "Check Charging System" warnings. Everything checked out so I removed alternator and had it checked. Diodes failing. Bought this unit and installed. Working as described. Good price and fast delivery.
