Description

For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

Just got it in, I'll update this if anything changes. But so far seems to be equivalent to OEM. I will say it's a pain to swap the radiators. Lots of cables, hoses, and A/C components in the way. You have to jiggle things around and move the radiator bit by bit. Just be patient and keep trying different things. I found it helpful to remove the passenger headlight, but that's not strictly necessary. One important note, if you're standing in front of the vehicle, the lower left tab where the A/C condenser bolts onto the radiator is not sized correctly. When you have the original radiator out examine the plastic tab that sticks out from the bottom of that mount. The new one you'll notice is wider than original. The metal tab on the condenser is keyed for that, so if you want it to fit you'll need to trim a bit off the plastic tab so it matches the size and shape of the original. I actually lost one of the screws, and when I saw that issue realized I couldn't screw that one down anyway so I just left it. It's held in place by the other three screws well enough, I'll probably fix it at some point though. Needed to get it back on the road for now. Hope that helps. ... show more

I install it on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it is almost good for replacement. The only bad thing is there is a design problem when I screw it back. It makes me could not screw one screw back to the point. But it may not a big problem, you can deal with it before you install it back in the car.

Took about 1 hour 30 minutes to install. No leaks. Drove for about 200 miles and seems good. Like I said no leaks. Doesn't come with all the mounting parts. You will need to take them off the old one. UPDATE: 4 months, still going strong

Quedo perfecto en mi grand cheroke 2008 Cuando le pongan los tornillos del abanico al radiador no los aprieten mucho porque pegan en el radiador!!! O si pueden ponerle tornillos mas cortos es mejor!!!! Suerte!!!

Fitment was perfect. Easy to install with the help of youtube. Install time was about 1.5 hours. Packaging and shipment was good. The one I received came with a new drain plug and bushings.
