Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

    • Radiator cap 15042975 does not fit TYC radiator 2458
My own vehicle. Radiator fits fine. But cap does not. Be nice if a new radiator cap came with new radiator. Cap 15042975 does not fit tyc radiator 2458.

Installed this today, so far, so good. I'm impressed with the initial quality. Came packed very well. The trans cooler fitting had all the parts of the quick disconnect for the trans lines. Save your radiator cap from your old radiator... While I had everything torn apart, I also replaced the lower radiator hose and the serpentine belt. This was a PIA to install. Not because of anything related to the radiator, just the vehicle design. Why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars, the clips that the fan shroud and condenser are screwed into. The thead are too deep. The OEM screws are not long enough to use with these clips. This wasn't a huge deal, I just used the clips from my original radiator. Now... fingers crossed, I will update this after several months and we'll see if I feel the same way... ... show more

    • So far so good, 3 months and counting. ****Update 13 months later FAILED**
**Update- failure** Imagine my displeasure 13 months after I purchased this TYC radiator when I found a puddle of coolant on the garage floor, yep the lower seam of this radiator has failed and was leaking all across between the plastic tank and the aluminum fins. The OEM lasted 13 years and 105k miles, this one last 13 months and 4K mikes. I contacted TYC twice and they refused to reply even after telling them I would be revising my review. Go with OEM or do the job twice (and pay twice). Plug and play just like the OEM in my '06 inline 6 Envoy, so far so good after 3 months of hot summer weather. Good bargain. Ive had no issues with tranny fluid and coolant mixing either (I've been checking). I'm happy. ... show more
