Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

    • Great product but still one issue
I purchased this for my 2001, 4.7L Tundra as a replacement for a leaking original radiator with 260K miles on it. I read many of the reviews and noted what some of the problems were and decided it was worth giving it a shot. After installing the radiator, I must say that the manufacturer has resolved many of the issues that were common to this radiator. First off, the box that it was shipped in is very robust and protected the radiator from damage that might have occurred as a result of rough handling. Secondly, the mounting bolts were not at all difficult to start and installation was a breeze. Finally, the bleeder hose connection to the coolant reservoir tank was perfectly fine (I checked after noticing a reviewer mentioning that the opening was non-existent. I would have given this a Five star rating, but there is one problem that remains with this radiator. It is slightly too tall and forces the hood up slightly on the driver’s side by about 1/16” – 1/18”. I didn’t notice this at first, but when I popped open my hood a few days later, the hood sprang up forcefully. I took a look at the radiator and noticed that one of the metallic tabs that are on the side frame was bent down. Even after this tab was bent, the hood still sticks up slightly. This might not be a problem for a Sequoia, but it is for the Tundra, hence my four star rating. Overall, I am happy thus far with the purchase. ... show more

I bought this with the last bit of cash I had left and thank goodness for amazon for having the lowest price and a quality product. It fit just fine and has been working great ever since I installed it about 3 months ago. I hit a deer on the way home from work and my radiator needed replacement as it was leaking. It fit my 2002 toyota Sequoia limited perfect and I didn't have any troubles getting it installed. It doesn't come with a cap, if you are needing a new cap you have to get one separate ! I just put on the cap from my old one and havent' had any problems at all. thisone is legit as far as i can tell. ... show more

    • Less than a month before it broke
It fit my 2001 sequoia fine. But it was installed less than one month before it broke. Pretty tough to buy and install a radiator to have it break so quickly. It’s depressing because of wasted money, but also because of wasted time. Really frustrating.

Fit my 2004 Tundra double cab perfectly. Came 2 days early. Easy replacement, only wish I could have found one made by someone other than China. But it is a perfect fit, and reasonable.

fits good, works good. just like any other radiator. the package did come damaged though, won't blame the manufacturer for that, just make sure yours isn't damaged before putting it in
