Description

To restore your vehicle's factory cooling efficiency, all TYC radiators are equivalent to OE construction for number and placement of fluid tubes and cooling fins. For those radiators with transmission oil coolers, the tanks are molded using heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic for added protection against extreme engine temperatures. Each TYC radiator is leak-tested before leaving the factory to ensure consistent quality.

Part was fairly well packaged - probably could have used some more styrofoam to protect it but it was not damaged so that’s good. Wasn’t as well made as the original but had all the correct fittings so I put it in! No problems so far but only 150 miles on it. Hopefully it’ll do well this summer!! 🤞

I needed a good but cheap radiator to replace the old one that has failed in my 2003 Infiniti I35. The TYC was exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly and keeps my engine cool; exactly what the radiator is supposed to do.

    • Excellent quality, painless install in 2001 Maxima GLE
This radiator was an exact duplicate of the original equipment in place in my 2001 Maxima GLE. Indeed, it might be a little better as it had brass transmission coolant connections. The original had what appeared to be aluminum. That said, this replacement went in easily. Everything lined up perfectly. Of note, the original utilized two self tapping screws to hold the radiator fans in place. They will not work with this unit which utilizes two threaded bolts. Again, TYC made it easy. It is the same size bolt that holds the ground shroud in place underneath the radiator area of the maxima. If the shroud is still in place on your car, you'll want to remove it for easy access to drain the original radiator as well as to access to the bottom radiator hose connection. As usual on these cars, there is overkill on the number of bolts used to hold the shroud in place. Use two from there if you don't happen to have something similar lying around.
