Works exactly as a new starter should after 13 months of use. Knock on wood. It's brand new and not remanufactured. There is no core charge. SOOOOOO much cheaper than the parts store reman units.

Does not start 100% of the time. After 1st start of the day it starts maybe75% of the time. I have to tap on the solenoid with a rod , while turning the key to the start position. Hard to do by your self.

Worked perfectly exact fit for my make and model car. Yes it will fit a 2008 Ford Edge SE AWD While I hope i won't have to buy another for a long time I would buy this again it is was available if the need arose.

12 Explorer Limited V6. This one was identical in size shape and the terminals. Likely used the original casting. Unlike another one I tried earlier this year that had slightly different terminals that didn’t work with the factory terminal cover. That other one just died at 6 months with no warning. Hopefully this one lasts. ... show more
