I initially ordered this for the easily removable face padding for cleaning / swapping reasons for my Quest 3, as the silicone covers constantly bunch and are tricky to clean while attached to the device. Overall I think it's more comfortable than the stock interface. I primarily use the leather one. This does fit slightly different than sock, and I feel like the stock one has a bit more padding - but this one feels more comfortable. I do feel that the stock interface and a silicone cover seems to wrap better around my face and block more light, but this purely comes down to face shape and preference. I kind of wish the face padding was a bit more plush because of this, because there are times where I can see a crack of light and feel myself adjusting to find the sweet spot. I was also worried that the vents would let additional light in, but they don't! While I like the design of the nose light blocker, my face shape has a gap at the nose. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice to have different sizes to swap out to get the maximum light blocking. I think the interface glasses adjustment is useful, and definitely more useful than the stock interface's buttons in the inside. However, since they are so bulky I find they get in the way of the headstrap angle. When I wear my Quest 3 I prefer to angle the headstrap arms down for a proper fit, but due to the knobs I can't go past a 90 degree angle. I think the orange color is pretty cool, even though it doesn't match anything else on the stock headset. It does fit my Quest 3 perfectly as if it was made by Meta. Overall, for my fit, it's just fine. I think it's a well designed interface with innovative venting that doesn't bring in light. The biggest plus for me is that I can easily remove the padding, but at the cost of more light leakage around the nose and less flexibility with the strap arms. If they provide different nose adjustments and make the nobs more low-profile I'd give this 5 stars. ... show more

Ok, the single reason I decided to test this new face cover was because, when I use the included one with the Quest 3, after some time my eyes start to get super dry and I have to take breaks. Besides that, the original face cover worked extremely well for me. Anyways, I received this one and the first thing you noticed is the orange accents, which actually look pretty good. There is also the big metal screws on the side that help you graduate the position and the distance between your face and the lenses. For me, the second position is preferred. This is not something I thought I needed but it does make a difference. It comes with two different face pads. One is PU leather, and that is my prefer one as I play a lot of exercise games and sweat a lot on it and using the breathable one will absorb all that sweat a lot more so i stay with the PU leather one. One thing to notice is that the shape of the mask when it comes to the interface with your face, doesn't have the same curvature as the original one. I only mention this as I was unable to use the silicon face cover I had attached to my original face pad with this one as it just wouldn't sit correctly. Despite this I have enjoyed using the new face pad and I have noticed improvement in the way my eyes feel. Maybe placebo effect but I do think it helps and so it does.
