Description

Our LASE 201C Crank-up Speaker Stands help lighten the load. With most speaker stands, you set the shaft-height first, then try to balance the speaker cabinet on top. This is difficult and dangerous,Power Crank stands are different. You mount the speaker first, then extend the shaft. There's no need to reach over your head, trying to balance all that weight with one hand while searching desperately for the mounting slot with the other. These stands support up to 80 pounds each.Once you've got the speaker in place, just crank on the folding hand crank. These stands have the gear-teeth milled right into the extruded-aluminum shaft for smooth, reliable motion, gig after gig.A friction handle locks the shaft in place to prevent slippage. When all that weight is perched up in the air, you need a strong, stable base to counteract the top-heaviness.The LASE 201C Crank-up Speaker Stand includes a locking tripod assembly with a base-spread of 18 inches. Extend the legs out wide enough to keep the stand from toppling over, preventing any unfortunate accidents. Non-slip rubber feet keep the stand in place on any floor surface, so it doesn't jitterbug-away when the bass is thumping. The stand folds up into a thin, compact shape, making it easy to tuck away.

  • the quality is fair - not the best or top quality
For the price of $150 for the pair, these are a deal. I have been using them several times, the quality is fair - not the best or top quality, but for the price, they work just fine. When you first crank them up, it feels a bit tricky, have to go back and forth to get that perfect turn with the handle. Built very well, nothing fancy here, but the folding handle is a perfect touch. Sure helps crank my 53 pounds Cerwin Vegas P1500x speakers without any problems, very smooth. I have used them at 3 events, dropped them while in the carrying bag that I purchased to travel them around, 3 times yet no damages, they work just fine. Built tough. Again, these are not fancy, designed to be very basic and durable, they do what they were designed to do, lift your speakers up and down and save your back. Again, for the price, these are well worth it. I will probably buy a second pair. ... show more

  • They get the job done raising a heavy speaker...
They're fine, but a lil on the heavy side compared to my other more expensive ones. Also, one of the two is harder to crank...maybe needs some WD40? For the price, I can't complain too much, though.

  • Don't buy unless for light use
The crank is ok. The problem is the tripod itself. The handle strip verrrryyyy easily and the stand end up being unusable. Good concept but if you use them on a regular basis, they will be done inside 4 to 6 month.

  • Functional
These work pretty good. They are sturdy and have a wide bottom base. I use them for the Yamaha 15s which wiegh about 67# a piece. They crank up with ease.
