Okay, so first I purchased the #30/33 color in 18" length and the wig was beautiful & well made but the color was too dark... it just made me look washed out... however, it was a very easy return process, and I just received the #30 in 22" length. This color is absolutely perfect!! 🎉 Nice copper brown. The first one did not have any chemical smell, however the second one I received did have a chemical smell... that was easily remedied because I was planning to curl the hair anyway using hot water... so I did large braids to curl the ends and then a nice co-wash... the hair looks good and smells good... I'm gonna let it dry tonight & wear it tomorrow, and update my review later UPDATE: THIS WIG IS EVERYTHING!! So using the braids to curl the ends didn't work, but I saw another reviewer mentioned rods and hot almost boiling water... that did the trick!! I can't believe how much I love wearing this wig, and how many compliments I'm getting... people legit think I sat in the chair for hours and got micro twists ... show more

I purchased this shorter version of the braided/twisted wig because I have a long one and I like how it looks. However, this one is quite different. I don’t know if it’s because it doesn’t have as much length or weight or what, but it doesn’t “sit” right. It doesn’t hang properly, and has a very obvious fake and unappealing “wig-like” appearance. If I put it on and hold the edges downward with my fingertips momentarily, it looks nice. But the moment I release, it resumes looking awful. I am really perplexed because this is supposed to be the same exact wig as the other one, only shorter. And the other one is very nice looking and fits well. The only thing I can fathom is that something went wrong and I guess this one is defective. However, given that it costs almost the same as the long one (only a $10 price difference), that’s no consolation. I basically wasted my money, and had to purchase a second longer wig right away to use because there’s no way I could use this one. So not only did I pay for something I could not use at all, I also had to spend even more money to get a replacement because I’d discarded my original long braided wig (which had no issues) when I received the short one. I wish I’d tried it on before doing so! I have alopecia, so I don’t have a great deal of choices regarding my hair. As such, I feel as if I have been taken advantage of. Absolutely Gorgeous, well crafted, neat, clean, very Full looking braids! THEY are lightweight on the head/ feels like nothing is on my head. They fit my small head like a glove😍 The color is beautiful on my sweet caramel complexion when I put it on I look like a pretty bottle of delicious HONEY🍯😍 My only Caveat is the length... I feel like its shorter than the advertised photo. I ordered 12 inch, however I was moreso basing my purchase for this one off the advertised pic they have of this unit......in their advertisement photo it looks more like a 14-16 inch....this one after its on my head shrinks to about 10 inches Its still beautiful so im definitely keeping it but I just ordered another one thats 22 inches and its supposed to get to me in the USA in 2 weeks. Bummer🥴 Anyways overall 10 stars for it being beautiful & well crafted but 8 stars for the false advertisement photos of its TRUE LENGTH 🥴👎🏽 STILL a good buy🧡 ... show more

I really love this braided wig, however after 6 months the wig elastic bands start to loosen up and you have to adjust, reinforce not only the bangs but the combs as well.

This is the perfect braided wig for me. I have a rather small head (between child and small size). I’m new to wearing wigs due to health issues and I can’t get use to their high maintenance. I was looking for something low maintenance but beautiful. I usually have to make adjustments for unit the fit. This unit required no adjustments at all. I love the color (purple) and the fullness.     • WHAT IS THAT SMELL?!!!

This wig would be a slam dunk 5 star if it weren't for two things. 1. The Smell - ladies this is not your average wig smell - oh no - this is FUNK! Pure FUNK! And please don't be mislead into thinking that just shampoo will take it off. And no fabric softener won't either. In fact, fabric softener was like using deodorant on funky pits. Huge no no. I had to wash this several times - like 6 times before the smell went away. And even then it took me using dawn soap rinse, then an Ammonia soak, followed by a vinegar rinse to get it off. Meantime, from the first time I washed the wig, it left my bathroom reeking of whatever funk it came with. Thank God my bathroom has a window I can open. 2. Look for the picture and review that says there are no hairs in the front. BELIEVE IT! There are no hairs on the side flaps. So the area from your ear going forward. There is about an inch of the flap with no hair. So would I buy it again? No. It's unfortunate because it is a beautiful wig otherwise. If the funk ( which is a combo between fish smell and bo and some unknown chemical) and the flap issue is taken care of I would buy it again. ... show more

I've envied these tiny twists since seeing them all over the place when I visited South Africa five years ago. I usually get my hair in normal size twists this time of the year to allow it to rest and minimize cooler weather shedding, but my favorite hair stylist who twists has relocated to another city. I decided to take a chance and order this wig instead. OMG - it is absolutely beautiful, yet not heavy at all. It is very high quality in both looks and feel. The scalp is also put together very well, and it's hard to tell that it's a wig and not micro-twists that are coming from my scalp since I have a healthy front hairline that I gel down and leave out. The only room for improvement is that there are no wig combs inside and the elastic band is tight if your head is on the larger side. I'm going to add my own combs and I'l be good to go! ... show more
