My wife bought me a 40mm Apple Watch and I quickly discovered that none of the more comfortable metal mesh bands available for the smaller face would fit over my hands (the kind with a long loop that spans your entire wrist without a closure). The only metal mesh bands that fit me are the kind with half the strap on both the top and bottom of the face and magnetic closures on both halves of the strap. The edges of the magnet closures really started irritating my wrists and I was ready to stop wearing the watch, when my wife got me one of these as a birthday present -- what a great and comfortable gift! Speidel has been around for ages (I grew up in the 60's and remember the name) and I hadn't thought of them for decades, but they're still around and the Twist-o-flex band is a really awesome thing. It looks great and doesn't irritate my wrist like bands with closures on the bottom of my wrist. If you have hairy arms like me, it will pull on your hair briefly when you first put it on or take it off, but it's perfectly comfortable otherwise. She got me the extra long band, so I had to remove a couple of links, which was a bit scary (required bending some little metal tabs) but after finishing, you can't even tell which links were un-bent/re-bent. It's not a cheap item, but the quality, comfort and functionality is very high, so I'm happy to have it. I hope mine lasts for the life of the watch, and based on wear over the past 5 months (none visible) it seems like it might go longer than that. ... show more

A bit pricey but worth the money for sure. This is my second Speidel band for my Apple watch (I'm tough on watch bands and the black ones scratch up over time). I really like the watch band so much easier to put on and take off. And a lot more comfortable than the original one that comes with the I watch band.

For an Apple watch, we tried different Apple watch bands, and none were user friendly for a person with motor challenges. This Speidel watch band was a lucky find! It works so well! It is flexible enough to put on and off, and once you get the right size, it fits well! The quality is great and the Speidel customer service was super helpful in figuring out the right size. Sizing was a little confusing, and we had to pay for shipping charge even though the product page showed free shipping, it got added in the cart during checkout. Also have to pay for return shipping for the incorrect size. In any case, can't beat the user accessibility. Definitely sticking with this brand. ... show more

Update: this band breaks easily and I’ve purchase a replacement twice already. I’ve replaced the band for the third and last time. No more after this one. This band was supposed to be high quality and looks really good on the stainless steel Apple Watch. But it’s entirely too big. The measurements guides are not correct. Measure your wrist without the watch, then deduct the Apple Watch size and you might get closer. ... show more
