First of all… the instructions is TRASH! I mean… wow, I took me 13 hours to build this thing. Granted it a nice bed BUT there were missing pieces.. the built in shelf is missing and now there’s a gapping hole at the foot of the top bunk and the clips for the mattress support railings were missing. I called Amazon asking for only the built in shelf to be shipped to me and it was useless. They gave me a partial refund and told me to try to find the piece at another store. I’m so freaking disappointed with this product. To make matters worse… I called the manufacturer EMKK and their number is invalid and their email was undeliverable (provided to me by the Amazon rep). I really just want all my money beck and get rid of this bed, I’m freaking out that my daughter will fall right through that gapping hole. ... show more

Against my better judgement we purchased the triple bunk bed that has the two bottom beds facing outward. The instructions required a PHD to understand, there were no pictures, and it was extremely unclear. I believe it took over 4 hours to build. Then to make matters worse, the little shelf from the top bunk was missing. So now we need an EXTRA long twin bed or to build something out of plywood to cover the huge hole. ... show more

Bought this bunk bed for my sons. It didn't take long to put together. The rubber guards they give you to prevent the bars from slipping did hurt my fingers after applying all of them. Great purchase.

this is by far the worst bed ever! it is almost impossible to put together, it took my wife and myself 8+ hrs. the instructions are very vague and almost not existent. the top bunk has a 12" gap at the end and is not a twin, the top bunkie board is not included..for as much money this bed cost instructions should have been more detailed, and they should have mentioned the top bunk mattress size..DO NOT BUY THIS SET, there are better ones for alot less!! ... show more

The instructions are horrible. We were lucky all the pieces needed were there. There were even a few extra bolts left over. The bars to hold the mattress don't have slots to hold them, they just bolt to the side rails. The top bed measures 88", which is 8" longer than a twin xl mattress. I would also not depend on the tools provided, even with using proper tools this still took 4 hours to assemble. Also the bars to support the mattress are not very strong. It's been less than a month and my kids have managed to bend 4 bars on the bottom beds. ... show more

This bed is a good concept but I received it partly broken and with missing shelf for upper bed. The directions are TERRIBLE. I would like to contact someone to have the missing piece sent and maybe a replacement for the broken one but there is no phone number to call.

The instructions are horrible. I'm good at putting things like this together but nothing is really labeled and the directions make no sense. The picture that shows the bed is to small to read and what I can read makes so sense because nothing is labeled!
