The mattress was easy to maneuver and set up with no chemical smell to the foam. We wasted thousands on a Sealy Tempurpedic mattress 6 years ago that began so sag into 2 wells! So angry! You know, the old mattress and box spring set up. So we decided to try this mattress. O M G !!!!!! WAY BETTER!!!!!!!!!! We figure even if wells start, at this price we can replace ours every few years. So far? No well, period. The smell was minimal. It was wrapped very well, vacuum packed. Packaged well. It is heavy! So you'll need 2 people to get it on the bed. But if you cut the plastic ON your bed frame, you'll find it much easier. We opened ours at 10am and by bedtime it was just about full expanded and so comfy. No need for box spring at all. We did put a 2" topper on it (and mattress protector) to make it even softer but the mattress is a medium/firm which is perfect. It's so nice not having to dry to roll over in a hot dog bun well! My body sinks in enough to conform to and support my curves which is what I needed, but rolling over is so much easier now for which I am thankful. I no longer get sore shoulders or hips as a side sleeper. It is a deep mattress and luckily I have all deep pocket sheets which never slip off. We're very, very pleased with this mattress and wish we wouldn't have wasted a LOT of money on the old dog Temperpedic! ... show more

This mattress is above and beyond what I expected. It arrived ultra fast. At first I thought ”There’s no way that big mattress fit in that box.” Wrong!! I carefully opened the box, laid out the compressed mattress and was still in doubt. The moment I cut the corner of the plastic sealed cover TADA! instant inflated mattress! I didn’t have to wait the recommended 6 hours. It took about another 45 minutes for complete inflation and VOILA! into the bed frame it went! No funky smell, actually a calm smell. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this mattress. The memory foam contours to your body and is very comfortable. I would say it leans more toward the firm side, but it’s not uncomfortably firm. I usually prefer softer mattresses, and I still found this one comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. I originally ordered the 8-inch mattress but received the 6-inch version instead. Even so, the 6-inch mattress was thick enough to comfortably support two adults, which exceeded my expectations. I would have liked to receive the 8-inch mattress I ordered because if the 6-inch was this comfortable, I’m sure the 8-inch would have been even better. ... show more
