My 45 y.o. daughter purchased this same mattress for her home. After sleeping in the bed she uses at our house after knee replacement surgery, I knew I had to replace that mattress. She really enjoys that she sleeps the same at home as when visiting our lakelhouse. Great value!

First off, this mattress is way less firm than I was previously used to, and a bit less firm than I expected it to be. I was questionable whether it was a good fit for me at first, but decided to stick with it for a few weeks. Now over 2 months later, I can say I really like this mattress. There is a bit of communicated movement when I get up or lay down, which can disturb other parts of the mattress, but it isn’t outrageous. When unpacking, the mattress did take a couple of days to expand to full height, but seems to have done well. After the initial unpacking, I didn’t perceive any odor from the mattress. Happy to have made this purchase!

Seems like a very nice mattress for the price, but I’m putting this warning out there for anyone who buys this thing. Buyer beware! There may have been something in the instructions about what happened, but I certainly did not think I needed to read instructions to simply open a mattress. This is a hybrid, so it’s memory foam and coil springs. Well, this thing was wrapped so tightly that as I used the tool to slowly slit the plastic, I saw that it began to expand. Keep in mind that I’m standing near the headboard with my feet between the slats of my bed frame kind of trapped there. As I continued pushing the cutting tool through the second half of the plastic this thing let loose and hit me like an NFL running back! I really cannot overstate the danger here. I am 215 pounds, and a 60 pound mattress threw me against the wall like I was a feather!. Messed up my shoulder forearm and neck and I’m lucky that my arm didn’t go through the window. I hit the window sill. And with my legs pinned between the slats, had I had opened this at the base of the bed, I probably would’ve broken one or both of my ankles or legs. The only thing that saved my legs was that I hit the wall before my legs had too much strain on them, but they got a little banged up too. This seller hopefully reads this and starts putting a huge red warning label on the outside of this plastic prior to opening. I’ve had a bunch of mattresses like this nothing like this has ever happened. Oh and it threw the nightstand against the wall and broke the lampshade! Jeez!
