I used this switch to hook up 2 LED lights that combined used 3.4 AMPS DC at 12 Volts. I installed the switch and it worked fine. After two uses it failed. Installed another one and it did the exact same thing, failed after two uses. I no longer thrust these switches the 20 Amp ratting is very suspect. I installed a traditional metal toggle switch in place of this switch with the exact same ratting and its worked flawless over 20 times with out an issue. ... show more

Not safe for 20 Amps!! These switches come pre wired with 24awg wire or .5mm diameter. IT IS NOT SAFE TO RUN 20A THROUGH 24Awg WIRE!! The switch themselves say 20a 12v but at this point I don’t trust this Chinese junk. Not UL listed or any other sort of certification. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Good quality switches, good price. The barrel of the switch that you push through the hole you drill ( no size was given for drilling holes and I canY remember what it was )no room for error so practice installing on something besides your expensive dash. The difference between the hole and the outer diameter of the front of the switch can’t be more than 1 mm or 2 mm. But if you can make it happen they are good quality. ... show more

The switches are sturdy and feel well made. The connections on the switch seem well made and are insulated with heat shrink. The description claims they are rated for 20 amps but that might be a stretch. They are definitely good to use for a couple of small led lights or when using as a relay control switch for larger amp loads. I would purchase again. Lot of bang for your buck. ... show more

As others have said, the LED isn't on the side that's depressed when the switch is closed. Not too big of a deal, I just rotated it 180. Still looks pretty good and so far it's working fine. I am not using it for anything remotely high current so I don't suspect I'll be testing the 20A claim but I highly highly doubt it can actually handle that much. ... show more

These are nice little switches, but are ruined by the fact they SOLDERED 18ga wire to the terminals on each switch. In a very short length 18ga is only rated for 16a, so if you’re looking to push a bit higher you will need to desolder the wires and replace with higher gauge wire. I’m very annoyed they did not put AT LEAST 16ga wire on and terminate them with spade connectors rather than soldering to the switches. ... show more

Installed with halo lights so i can have manual control over when they are on. Drilled the recommended size hole but had to use a dremel to slightly smooth the edges to get it in. Works great, installed for about a month no problems.
