Got my dad’s car back on the road. Be advised it doesn’t come with the single use bolts and will need new unless you cut a groove for a screwdriver.

For some reason I overlooked the fact that this was an OEM part, definitely due to the low price. Its priced cheaper than any of the aftermarket units that I was quoted on locally. Comes with 2 genuine Kia keys and even has a very impressive Lock Smith friendly unique bar code that is professionally laminated and fastens to wherever you find most suitable, in the event you were to lose both keys. This way they can create an identical key without a spare to duplicate. My only regret is not replacing this part years ago. The Sorento is known for ignition switch issues (not sure about the newer models but definitely the 2012) and the key progressively got to the point where it wouldn't turn at all. You can buy yourself another year or so by having a new key cut (assuming your ignition switch is wearing the key out over time) but eventually you'll end up stranded. Anyways, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this product. ... show more
