These cuticle nippers are very sharp; sharp enough to tackle thick toe nails and thick calluses and cuticles. The handle is ergonomic, long, and very well-designed - it feels comfortable and secure, especially compared to my previous cuticle nipper. However, the plastic storage pouch is kinda disappointing. It’s difficult to remove the nipper from the pouch, and the material feels cheap and flimsy, and will likely to rip or tear within a few months of use. A sturdier velvet storage pouch would have been a much better fit for the total cost and quality of these cuticle nippers.

I love these. I have another nipper in my stuff somewhere, but I needed this one now. From inactivity and a lack of pedicures since my surgery almost two years ago, I have overgrown toenails, which are challenging and nearly impossible to cut. This is powerful, has quite a good-size "nipper blade," and is built solid. All I have to do is "nip" minor cuts in various places strategically (in my grown part of the toenail, but not deep), and it is then more accessible for the clippers to cut the rest. You can cut little "V's" if you need to. Otherwise, it is much harder or impossible to reach. Managing the curled-in toenails is complicated, and I can keep them from getting too long. This is what I do, so take from it what you will. There are more ways for you to use this great tool. Just be careful; before you cut, there should be no skin on the blade, or you might cut into the nail bed. My husband got carried away a couple of times and cut before checking with me to see if it felt right. I jumped up, but he did not want to do it. Now, it is not the nipper that is most of the problem; it is the clippers you cannot navigate at times; however, be careful. This is a great item to share with family. I would organize a stress-relief self-care goodie bag with pedicure equipment, clippers, nippers, lotions, oils, foot soak crystals, a foot tub, a nail brush, a nail file, a file paddle, and some sterilizer. People with diabetes and neuropathy, like me, will love to have pain relief every night when they are afflicted. If you gift these in person, that is a grand gesture, but for people who cannot, like me, you can send them out yourself or via Amazon directly with a personalized message. This is a solid purchase, and it is just what they need for some. Enjoy!

These are very high-quality cuticle nippers. They are very sharp so take your time or you'll hurt yourself. I like that the mechanism is automatic, I've had other ones that has a terrible mechanism that breaks easily. Honestly the only things I can complain about, which cost the stars, are the price and the lack of a container. It comes with a plastic piece that goes over the nipper section and that's it. For almost $30, I would expect at least a case or a bag or something. There are plenty of cuticle clippers out there for a much more affordable price that include bags or cases for storage.

These are hands-down the nicest set of cuticle clippers I have every owned. I'm not a professional, so maybe that doesn't mean much, but I've done my own nails for years and I rely heavily on good cuticle clippers in my routine. I usually pick mine up at places like CVS, and up until I got these I pretty much just thought they were all the same. THEY ARE NOT!! These are AMAZING! Why?? These are just incredibly well-made. They are noticeably heavier than the drug-store clippers, but in a good way - they feel nice in my hands. Weighty but not heavy. The blades are very pointy and very sharp - so be careful - and they can easily and cleanly remove just what you want removed and nothing else. I didn't realize how badly the cheaper clippers were roughing up my cuticles. After only using these a few times I'm finding that I have to cut away much less, and my cuticles are looking much nicer. I would give these six stars if I could. I'm just really impressed with the quality of these clippers.
