These are great for soaking off artificial nails and gel nail polish. I fill the bottom reservoir with hot water and pour acetone in the top. Acetone feels cold so this makes the experience a little more pleasant. I like that I can soak both hands at the same time and can easily check the progress without having to unwrap aluminum foil and wrap it back up again. I think this method made the acetone work a little faster, but I'm not positive. I have begun to use peel off gel base under Gel X nails to make removal easier and get away from exposing myself to acetone. These bowls also work great to soak my fingers in warm soapy water to help loosen the Gel X nails so they pop off. Also great for softening my cuticles. The shape is good for resting my hands and staying comfortable. Nothing negative to report. The price was right, it was delivered quickly, I haven't had any issues with quality so far.

This is my second time purchasing these.. my other ones got banged up over time. I love love love these and cannot go back to using regular bowls after having these. Adding hot water to the bottom removes gel and gel x tips much faster.

I tried foils and clips before a friend recommended this bowl. It's much more effective, and like a mini spa treatment for my hands. As long as you make sure the water is hot, this is the easiest way to remove your polish. The gel polish starts to peel in less than 20 minutes, and you don't have to scrape the rest off your nails. I'm so glad I tried this!

This is a really cool product and I wish I found it back in the day when I did my nails myself. You really need patience to sit there and let your nails soak though and one-by-one. Having the bottom section for warm water - NOT HOT - it really nice without worrying you'll burn your fingers off. You do need to out enough acetone to cover the fingers or it can get a little awkward trying to fit

i used this, and i wasn’t a big fan. i could’ve been doing something wrong, but it took me FOREVER to get my gel-x off when i soaked them in this. and the product would always end up all over my hands. now i just use cotton balls with acetone and put in on my fingers with tinfoil. but if this is what works for you, when my fingers were soaking, it wasn’t too uncomfortable keeping them in here!
