Got this for travel and it's a nice compact set. tools are very good quality. I was hesitant about purchasing this because of all the negative comments about the case being worthless and everything falling out. I found that it works just fine if you load it correctly. There is a loop in the center back to hold the scissors and slits on each side for the clippers and tweezers. The file then goes in the middle. I've attached a picture as an example. ... show more

The grooming tools are great. The case, which is the main selling point, is super loose and is not able to hold the items well, they just fall off. If they actually had the case have full sides instead of half sides, this would have been perfect.

My favorite part of this nail grooming kit is the file! It’s a little pricey but worth it! The tool is sharp though which is great but takes a little bit of learning & keep away from kids!

I use the grooming kit in a travel kit. The case has large side openings and doesn't keep the nail clippers inside the case. The nail clippers are not very good. I swapped them out with a more expensive nail clipper. Once the nail clipper is swapped out, the overall pieces are good. I just wish that the case was better designed so it could hold all the pieces inside when placed in a travel kit. If you keep the case in a cabinet at home, it works Ok. If they improved the case, added a better nail clipper and raised the price to $50, it could be an ideal kit. It was easy enough to find a top-quality nail clipper replacement, so I don't mind this kit at $30. Alternatively, selling this kit for $30 will an enclosed case for travel would earn 5 stars, knowing that some quality in the nail clipper will be compromised in a $30 kit. ... show more

Solid set of tools! I only have one problem with this set (but it's not enough for me to drop he rating) - the fingernail file for me is not the greatest - it's difficult to file the sides and corners of my nails bc there's plastic surrounding the file edges. I don't use this for filing anymore as emery boards are far superior. I will say that the metal ends on the file are awesome for digging out gunk from under the nails if needed. I bought this set because I needed the tweezers and scissors in my travel bag. The nail file is actually pretty handy and of course the clippers are great. The bag is pretty cheap so I made a leather holder that I like better but hey, for $20, what do you expect?

Tweezerman makes the best grooming implements I have found anywhere, and this set is reasonably priced for what's included in it. Giving them as gifts to nephews who will appreciate them over the next many years in their lives. Life's too short to use bad clippers or scissors! These scissors are exceptional for those nagging hairs that develop as we men age in places we'd never hoped to see hair (i.e. nose/ears). Recommended highly! ... show more
