I have purchased a few. These babies are absolutely adorable. Great for the collector. I personally think they would be great for a grieving mom who's lost her child. Even a senior who is missing the comfort of a child. I purchased for my 8-year-old granddaughter. I came into the kitchen with the doll in my arms. My 78-year-old mom saw it and said is that for me??? I shook my head yes. She grabbed the doll from me and began hugging it tightly and crying. She said through her tears there is a baby in the house again...even if only a doll. She is now talking about buying baby clothes. My dad said we are nuts and regressing, but even he said it is adorable and got a chuckle at my mom's reaction. My mom needed the joy her newborn babydoll gave her. I told her momma’s are stuck with what they get we don’t always get thought we were getting but we love him just the same. They must use filters when taking pictures. The face is really cute, like the picture. The body is a little stiff and not as detailed as some. It really doesn't have the details like veins. I read some reviews that say the back is sunken in and the middle of the back is. One foot is also a little wonky. The weight and size decent. Overall for $30 it's a real cute doll. I didn't have very high hopes for the price so I'm not too disappointed. I bought him for my daughter for Christmas. She has a girl one that is softer and really detailed so I hope she isn't too disappointed in him. I don't want to return him before giving her a chance to decide.
